3: Fall 2010 Initiation 63 initiates attended the ceremony with their family and friends.
4: On October 16, 2010 Dr. Rhonda Richardson came to speak about service dogs being used in the classroom, and the benefits that students gain in self-confidence, reading, and anger management from the experience.
5: Following the meeting blankets were made for Linus Project in The Woodlands, Texas. The mission of Project Linus is to provide love, security, and warmth to children with a serious illness. | service
6: Celebration of Teaching
7: Celebration of Teaching is where Juniors and Seniors in high school come to SHSU for a day to learn about the education program and classes, over 173 high school student attended. | Some of the sessions offered were: Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Preparing to be a Teacher, Technology in the Classroom, Career Options as a Physical Education Teacher, and Bilingual Learners.
8: Spring 2011 | Spring 2011 Initiation 46 initiates attended the ceremony with their family and friends.
9: A representative from SHSU Career Services came to speak to members about what to wear to interviews and also give other interview advice and resume advice. | Interviews March 6, 2011
10: Valentine's Day Cards
11: Children joined KDP members at the local mall to make Valentine's Day Cards for their friends and family.

13: 366 books were given away to 2nd Grade students at Sam Houston Elementary in Huntsville, Texas. Each student received a set of 3 hardback books. | Literacy Alive 2011

21: The First Annual Master's Forum was held to provide information to KDP Members who were interested in obtaining their master's degree from SHSU.
