In two weeks and two countries, I found ALL of East Africa's Big Five: Cape Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant, Lion, and Leopard.

First game drive at Kenya's Lake Nakuru National Park - flamingos, buffalo, jackals, impalas, rhino, pelicans, zebras, babboons, & sunset.

A morning walk at Mwariki village - knitting cooperative, bead cooperative, Tilapia farm, and lots of work being done.

Lake Naivasha: A morning walking safari and hike to Crater Lake followed by an afternoon boat ride on the lake.

A night spent as the guests of a Masai tribe - the women of the village sang for us, the warriors danced for us, and the men slaughtered a goat for us.

Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve | Two days of amazing game drives - highlights included watching 16 lions feast on a buffalo kill and eating lunch on the banks of the Mara River across from the hippos and crocs!

A tour of the Kisac Soapstone Factory to watch the stone being carved, sanded, and painted as it is transformed into art.

 Birds of East Africa

Lake Victoria & scenes from Tanzania captured from the truck.

 Shopping, | Tanzanian Style!

Game drives in the Serengeti where we finally got to see leopards! (Plus wildebeests, cheetahs, a black mamba, vultures, baboons, hartebeests, hippos, ostrich, lions, zebras, etc.)
