BC: This is the symbol for Burger King, a fast food restaurant. I sometimes eat here, but not too often. | This is a symbol meaning doctor. It means there is a doctor or doctor's office nearby.

1: A Shield. Knights fought with a shield in King Arthur's time. The symbols on the shield gave information about the knight's family | King Arthur is a heroic and famous king of England in a series of stories. He might have lived in the 5th or 6th Century or he might be entirely a myth.

2: Knights protected themselves in battle with armor. Two types were chainmail armor, made up of thosuands of tiny pieces of linked steel and plate armor. | England is a country off the West Coast of Europe. The King Arthur legends take place in England.

3: Here are some lines from Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Sir Gawain was one of the knights at king Arthur's Roundtable.

4: Crowns Crowns are worn by rulers. It is a symbol of their authority and power

5: This symbol is a Pentangle. In Sir Gawain the five points represent the five senses. It is also a symbol of the Wiccan religion.

6: Cross This is a symbol of Christianity. It represents the cross that Jesus died upon

7: The Castle Camelot This is where King Arthur and his knights of the round table lived. Many of his adventures take place here.
