1: Map | Kush | Kush is also pronounced and spelled Cush and Koosh | They are located by the red sea. Also the Mediterranean sea. It's the neighbor of Numbia and Eygpt. Today it's found in Sudan. The kingdom of Kush formed 2,000 years ago.
2: Today they are now located in Northern Sudan. Although they originated near the Nile River. | Geography: | By the 775 B.C. the Kingdom of Kush was developed. | One of the main towns in their Kingdom was called Khartoum.
3: Through the Meroitic period they developed new types of building influenced by Hellenistic and Romans so and this influenced their temples. | These are ancient pyramids in Sudan that are now crumbling. They were vanished glories of the Kushite Kings. | Attractions and Architecture
4: They wore many different types of clothing. Men wore linen tunics . And the women wore long simple skirts. And most of the women were found bear chested. Jewelry was a very large accessory that everyone owned. This consisted of necklaces, bracets, earrings, beads | Clothing
5: Government | The 25 dynasty of eygpt was ruled by King Alara who was the 1st recorded prince of Numbia. He established Napia as the religious capital of the Numbia. And He had married Queen Kasqa | After King Alara king Kashta was ruler. He ruled 765B.C. His wife was Queen Pebatjma.
6: Religion: | They don't now much about the Kushite Religion. However they knew it was heavily influenced by the an Egyptian religion; which was Numbian Religion. | They did worship a lion god named Apedmak. | And most of their worship temples were built along the Nile
7: Language | and Method of Writing | The Kush developed their own method for writing. They use what is now called Egyptian scribes, as shown the the pictures | They speak a language similar to Semitic Tonuge of Southern Asia
8: The main diet consisted of ostrich eggs and fruit. Grape-fruits were the biggest, and most eaten fruit there. As well as the orange. And the occasion pig was eaten here and there, but it was very scarce. Though according to some of their religions they didn't allow pigs to be eaten | FOOD
9: The main sports/activities that they played were archery and wrestling. Wrestling had evidence to be very popular. And not only did the Kushite's play it also the Numbia's did as well. And that they participated in archery in the 11th Dynasty.
10: Some highly symbolic and paintings or sculptures were not meant to be a record as the result of subtle changes not an altered conception of art or it's in society. | ARTWORK
11: 1. They were believed to be the first civilization in Eygpt. | 2. And most of their customs and traditions came from Egptian civilizations | Facts
12: Inventions | One of their inventions were Olive Oil Soap. This was further developed in the region of Spain. Back then they used this to wash their clothes, not their bodies. | Around 1000 B.C. they invented toys. Many of them were clay. With intricate artwork hand painted on it. Most of them resembled something. Such as animals or people.
