S: Lunde Family Memories Vol. 2


1: Uncle Neal and Aunt Tera Daddy and Mommy went to an OSU Beaver game and left Beckett with Uncle Neal and Aunt Tera for the first time. Beckett had a blast with them. They watched the game on TV, ate lots of snacks, played with Geisha, and of course snuggled!

2: Love of Books One of Beckett's favorite evening pastimes was to read books. He had his favorites, like "Jungle Babies" and "The Snuggliest Snuggle in the World."

3: October 2010

4: A few of us moms got together with the kids and went to Flora Pacifica's pumpkin patch. There were so many pumpkins to choose from, but Beckett eventually found the perfect one. It was just his size. | Pumpkin Patch

5: Our Little Eater

6: Our friends, the Ragers, came to Brookings to visit. We had a great time getting together for dinners and visiting. Beckett and Everett got to know each other and became good friends too! The boys were only a few months apart in age and were fun to watch interact and play. | Hanging with the Rager Family

12: The Lundes headed to Waikiki, Hawaii in November. Beckett was a trooper on the long flight. Once we reached the island, he never quite changed to the local time. We all got up at 2:30am every morning. | Hawaii 2010

19: While we were in Portland, Beckett had a couple of firsts. He had his first hair cut at 9 months. Beckett also went to sushi for the first time. He was more interested in the chopsticks, then the sushi.

21: A Day to Give Thanks Nov. '10

22: First Visit with Santa | Dad, Mom, and Beckett headed to Washington Square Mall to visit Santa. Beckett was a little scared of him and very excited to get back in his momma's arms again.

26: C I V I L W A R 2 0 1 0 | Uncle Brett, Grandpa Dan, Beckett, Daddy

27: Olsons, Lundes, and Phipps | Blazer Game | While we were in Portland, we took Beckett to his first Blazer game. We sat in a suite, so there was lots of room for him to move around. Auntie Tera, Uncle Neal, Uncle Eric, and Nana joined us at the game.

28: We prepared for Beckett's first Christmas. He was very interested in the presents under the tree, even openning a few early.

29: Azalea Park Light Show | The Lundes and Olsons took all the kids to the light show at Azalea Park. Beckett loved all the bright lights, especially the animals.

42: After Beckett's party, we headed down to Harris Beach to relax. It was a nice way to end the day.

43: One Saturday afternoon we took the kids to the bowling alley. Beckett was more interested in playing with the balls, than playing the game. | After bowling we headed back to our house, for popcorn and a movie. Beckett loved the popcorn, especially when Ollie fed it to him.

48: The Lundes and Olsons took the kids to Trees of Mystery. The kids loved the tram ride, while the adults enjoyed the view from the top!

49: Mommy Fit Club Hike

50: Nana and Momma took Beckett for the first time to the Portland Children's Museum. There were so many exhibits to see. Beckett spent most of the time in the baby room, exploring with all the other babies. Beckett loved the splash table and fish tank. | Portland Children's Museum | February 2011

51: While in Portland, we had the chance to visit Great Grandpa Frank and Great Grandma Naomi at their house. They had us over for lunch and made a special grilled cheese sandwich for Beckett. We also went to see Great Grandma Thelma at her house. She gave Beckett lots of hugs and kisses. | GREAT Grandparents

52: Tea time with Nana | Yum Yum! | Shopping at the Mall | Lunch at Auntie Tera's Work | Storytime at Tigard Public Library | Playplace at the Mall | Fun in Portland

53: C & K Market put together a running team, to compete in the Hood to Coast race. Daddy and Mommy started running in November. | In April, our team competed in the Wild River's Redwood 5K Run. It was our first race of the year. Daddy placed 3rd in his age group. Way to go, Daddy!! | It was a rainy day, but a beautiful trail run through the Redwoods. The whole team finished the race and received medals. Way to go, Team C & K!! | While Daddy and Mommy raced, Beckett spent time with Grandpa. This was the first time Grandpa babysat Beckett all by himself. He even changed a diaper.

54: Daddy and Beckett Project Time | On Saturday morning, Beckett and Daddy put together Beckett's new toy chest. Beckett was fascinated with the drill and really wanted to try it out himself.

63: Another Weekend Project Momma wanted to grow a garden in the spring, so Daddy and Beckett built her 6 planter boxes. The boys got the boxes all ready for Momma, even filling them with soil. Beckett was hands on during the whole project, from helping Daddy drill the boxes to pushing the wheelbarrow full of soil.

66: Day With Dad | Hot Dog Eating Contest | Yummy! | At the Port | Library Time | Off to the Park | Books Before Bed

67: Making Easter Cards

68: Easter Project #1 Rice Krispie Eggs | Beckett and Momma went over to Mary's house for an Easter craft. We made Rice Krispie eggs and filled them with M&M's. Beckett had a hard time waiting to eat them and decided to dig into his treats halfway through the project.

73: Time with Family in Portland

74: Mommy Fit Club Hike at Lone Ranch | All the moms and babies headed out on another hike. We hiked from Whaleshead to Lone Ranch, where we stopped for a picnic lunch.

76: Beckett's 1st Swimming Lessons | We headed down to Crescent City's indoor pool, for Beckett's first swimming lessons. Mom, Grandma, and Daddy all took turns during the lessons with Beckett. By the end of the two weeks, Beckett was blowing bubbles, kicking his feet, and doing rocket arms! He was quite the swimmer at 15 months!

77: Beckett made a special surprise for Mom. Grandma and Grandpa helped him plant her a plant and he gave it to Momma on Mother's Day | Happy Mother's Day 2011

78: The Lundes love summertime in Brookings! We spend most days up river enjoying the sun. Also getting ice cream at the Port is a favorite!

80: Azalea Festival 10K Run Memorial Day Weekend 2011

81: Azalea Festival Parade May 2011

82: Baby Shower for Tera and Mason Grandma and Mom hosted a baby shower for Auntie Tera and Baby Mason, over Memorial Day Weekend. Auntie Tera got all the important things for the new baby and more! It was a fun time with family and friends.

83: 7th Anniversary in Port Orford

84: In April we found out that our family was expanding! Here is Baby Lunde #2 in June at 12 weeks.

86: Uncle Eric Graduates from Tigard High School | In June we headed to Portland to watch Uncle Eric graduate. We had to make a pit stop along the way at OSU, to pick-up his graduation gift. Following graduation, Uncle Eric planned on going to OSU!

87: While in Portland, we met up with the Phipps family for breakfast. Beckett was interested in his new friend, Nolan. The boys were only one year apart in age. After breakfast, we all took a leisurely stroll around NW23rd.

89: June 2011

90: In June, the Lundes headed over to Sunriver, where Daddy put on the Ray's Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament. After the tournament, we stayed for a week of fun in Sunriver. Grandpa, Grandma, Auntie, Auntie Tera, and Uncle Neal all joined us.

91: Sunriver 2011

92: For Father's Day, Grandpa and Daddy got a guided fishing trip in Sunriver. They caught a lot of fish, but were disappointed when they were told they had to release them. | Happy Father's Day 2011

93: Helping Dad Wash the Car

94: Beckett and Friends | Josiah and Beckett | Millie and Beckett | Claire and Beckett | Beckett, June, and Jamison

95: Beckett spent most days of the summer up river with all of his pals. He did not venture too far into the water, but loved to throw rocks and play on the river bank.
