12: Hanoi Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One-pillar pagoda and a few of the 82 stelae in the Temple of Literature. The stelae lists Vietnam's 1,306 doctor laureates who achieved fame between 1442 and 1779. Laureates range in age from 16 to 61. During the American war, the stelae and turtles were buried in sand and concrete to protect against bombings.
