1: Bangkok | Grand Palace and part of 1,900 m long Ramakien mural (originally dates from early 19th century) | Khon figures on guard

2: Wat Pho Reclining Buddha (150 feet long and 50 feet high) Also College of Traditional Medicine which means great Thai massages

3: Wat Arun - Temple of Dawn

4: Long boat trip on one of the klongs off the Chao Phraya River

5: Songkran aka the Water Festival and Thai New Year

6: Bridge on the River Kwai and entrance to the Tiger Temple

7: Feeding the young tigers after our shared breakfast

12: Hanoi Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One-pillar pagoda and a few of the 82 stelae in the Temple of Literature. The stelae lists Vietnam's 1,306 doctor laureates who achieved fame between 1442 and 1779. Laureates range in age from 16 to 61. During the American war, the stelae and turtles were buried in sand and concrete to protect against bombings.
