2: Another turning point A fork stuck in the road Time grabs you by the wrist Directs you where to go So make the best of this test And don't ask why It's not a question But a lesson learned in time It's something unpredictable But in the end it's right I hope you had the time of your life | So take the photographs And still frames in your mind Hang it on a shelf In good health and good time Tattoos of memories And dead skin on trial For what it's worth It was worth all the while It's something unpredictable But in the end it's right I hope you had the time of your life | Time Of Your Life

110: You carved out a pretty nice career for someone who didn't touch a basketball until 4th grade. What you and your teammates were able to accomplish as a group over a 4-year period was nothing short of incredible. After going 9-7 as 5th graders, you ripped off 80 wins with only 8 losses over the next 3 years; including 2 City Championships, a State Championship, and a 3rd Place finish in New England. You were so dominant that you accomplished all of this while playing only 1/2 the time. You were the group that revitalized girls basketball in the greater Waterbury area. With your baggy shorts, shooting shirts, pink balls, and Nike IDs...everyone wanted to be like the Lady Cougars. You wanted to get better; so we found you a summer league to play in. All of a sudden, every school had a team in the summer league. You were the leader and the standard and everyone knew it. You turned around a program that was accustomed to losing
111: and was ok with losing. You said, "no way"...we want to win and we will win. You played with all of your heart every game and because of that and the approach you took. to the game and the responsibility you felt to be the best you could be every time you stepped on the court; you bettered yourselves as human beings and prepared yourself for life. Together, as a group, you went through things that you wouldn't wish on anyone of any age; and you handled them with the grace and maturity of someone far beyond your years. You showed everyone how great the game of basketball can be; not just on the court, but in every aspect of life. You were great for basketball and basketball was great for you. You should be proud of what you were able to accomplish. You leave a legacy that will never be forgotten and one that will be talked about for many years to come.

200: My great grandfather once went to a NY Yankee game and took his dog along with him. Halfway through the game, the dog ran onto the field and Lou Gehrig returned him to my great grandfather. When talking about legendary baseball players, my grandfathers' will often tell of the time they saw Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, or Ted Williams play in person or how they had their baseball cards. One day I am going to b e able to tell my kids an grandkids that I once played "Around the World" with the greatest basketball player of all time! | 23
