1: Mike Lupica is a columnist for the New York Daily News. His first job was covering the New York Knicks | Play Ball!
2: Mike Lupica has also published columns in Sport, World Tennis, Tennis, Golf Digest, Playboy, Sports Illustrated and many others. He was the youngest columnist ever to have a job at a New York paper.
3: BASEBALL | He began working for the New York Daily News back in 1977. One of his amin written articles is "Shooting From The Lip."
4: For the past fifteen years Lupica has been a TV anchor for "The Sprts Reporter," on ESPN. He also has his very own show called "The Mike Lupica Show," on ESPN2.
5: Mike Lupica has co-wrote autobiographies with Reggie Jackson, and Bill Parcells. He has a total of 16 published young adults.
6: Mike Lupica has written many novels for young adults including, "Comeback Kids, Travel Team, Summer Ball," and many others. His book "Dead Air," was nominated for the "Edgar Allen Pope Award."
7: "Travel Team," by Mike Lupica made number one on the New York Times Bestseller's list. his favorite book is "Princess Bride," By: Bill Goldman.
8: Now his life.... He was born May 11th 1952 in Oneida, New York. He has three sons, Chris, Alex, and Zach. He also has a daughter named Hannah. He and his wife and kids all live in Connecticut.
9: Mike Lupica met his wife Taylor in Brigdehampton, New York while he was with some of his friends. His favorite non-sport related hobby is just being around his family and friends.
10: Mike Lupica graduated from Bishop Guertin High School. Then later he graduated from Boston College.
11: Now a days Mike Lupica plays Golf and Tennis. He also loves to cover the final four.
12: His favorite food is pizza. His favorite sport is baseball.
13: Mike Lupica also coaches little league baseball, football, and soccor. He also sometimes plays softball in a slow pitch league.

16: His father doesn't talk to him very much. Now he is on his way to win the State Championship.
17: In the first game he hits a walk off homerun. In the next one he lets a grounder go through his legs.
18: Then in the Championship his father comes. It's all tied up in the bottom of the 7th. He is up with a runner on second. The rest... You will have to read the book to find out.
