FC: My Life < <3
As a teenager, I love many different types of music. Ranging from slow heart touching songs, to fast and loud music. My favorite slow beat bands are A Day to Remember, One Republic, and The All American Rejects. Some bands that cheer me up are Stereo Skyline, Plug in Stereo, Owl City, The Ready Set, Nickasaur, and NeverShoutNever. | The music I started listening to recently, is screamo. But I only like songs that have some regular singing, and some screaming. Like, Black Veil Brides, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Bring Me The Horizon, Asking Alexandria, Escape the Fate, and BlesstheFall. Music helps me with my self confidence or sometimes to make me feel happier. I don’t know where I would be in life without it.

I have one big family. Being Hispanic, you have a lot of parties to go to and family get togethers. On holidays, my house seems to get smaller with all of the people crammed inside. I have about 20 first cousins and 7 aunts. That’s just my moms side! My dads side is even bigger. Also, with a big family, you go to a lot of graduation ceremonies, parties, and of course, family reunions. I love my family with all my heart, they can get crazy, but what would a family be like without a little fun? I have one sister. But she lives in Arizona, so I feel like an only child. Though when she visits, we always make the best memories.
Since my family is so big, I can only fit a few of my family members on here. | Above are two of my cousins. | One of the many male cousins I have.
My friends complete me. They have a big impact on my life. I don’t know how I would ever live without them. They’re one in a million. We NEVER, EVER do not have memories to laugh about. Our memory making place is mostly the Orchard, or anywhere really. But we all have to be together! We like the same things such as music and clothes. These girls and boys will be in my life for a long time I’m hoping. Specifically, Savannah Haro, McKenzie Joslin, Jennie Boucneau, Donovan Douglas, Kendra Grady, Kaeden Vonduyke, and Dakota Menzor, which are all eighth graders! Savannah, is like my sister. We will be together forever. Now Kenzie, is just by far the best I ever knew. She has the cutest little voice and makes everyone laugh. We never have a bad time. Jennie. She has had a lot of childhood issues, but rarely anyone can rain on her parade. The sweetest, and I mean the absolute sweetheart, who has been with me through rough times, is Donovan Douglas. He has more than enough “bestfriends”. But personally, I believe we are literally brother and sister. Period. Kendra is my ray of sunshine. She sure does like to have fun! We have NO memories! But I love her to death. Last, but not least, the very first eighth graders I ever knew, are Kaeden and Dakota. Kaeden is, I swear, the tallest eighth grader at Century. He is about 6’4”. Dakota is just like his sidekick. They are always together. Here’s the really funny part, Dakota is only as tall as me. About 5’4”. I’m sure I left out a lot of people. But those ones I could not live without. I did leave out one special guy. No, not my boyfriend, but the second sweetheart in my life. Austin Reid Talley. He is really mature and tall! Pretty close to Kaeden. Austin can be a little kid anyday. One thing I absolutely love about him is what he’s doing with his life. He wants to become more laid back and patient and he believes Buddhism can teach him how. That’s right, he’s becoming Buddhist.
Juliette. I love this girl to death! We will be friends forever. :) | I wrote about the people I love, and for some people I didn't write about, I think it is necessary to put their pictures on these next couple of pages. That is just how much I love them. :)
 Kendra Grady! | Savannah Haro!
On the left is Kaeden Vonduyke and the right is Dakota Menzor. Love them! | And the gorgeous McKenzie Joslin! One of my favorite eighth graders!
I played a variety of sports and activities when I was younger. I did gymnastics, swimming, track, softball, and tumbling. I started gymnastics at a very young age, I was about 7 years old. The summers of those years, and previous years before that, I would always go swimming at my neighborhood pool. That is when I did swimming classes. I had a nickname “Bullet”. People called me that because I swam really fast. I was always so excited to go swimming. Everyday when I didn’t have school, I would go swimming. In the winter, that is where the Recreation Center comes in. I still love to swim and I probably always will. | I run very fast. Incredibly fast. I could beat guys In a race. I wanted to stay healthy, so I started track. I could run faster than anyone else. That got me the idea to start doing softball. I was always the one to get home runs. A few years ago, I felt I needed to be more flexible because most of my friends were in gymnastics and wanted to become cheerleaders. My sister was a cheerleader in high school, and I wanted to follow that tradition. So I started Tumbling. For those of you who don’t know what this is, it is like gymnastics, but more advanced.
I could do a bag hand spring on the trampoline and on the ground. I can still go down all the way when I do wall walks (Do a back bend but your hands stay on the wall the whole time). Most girls my age do not do sports. But, I wanted to stay strong and healthy so to this day, I do 500 sit-ups each and every day. It’s hard work, but it pays off. I only know one girl who has abs at my school. She encouraged me to appreciate my body more. That’s when I started to work out and run with my mom and sister. | I spend my Saturday mornings getting up at 7:00 a.m. and running. It makes me feel refreshed and happy to be alive. Working out has really helped my self esteem. I recommend it to all the girls my age to get outside and do something! It makes you feel much stronger inside and makes you believe nothing is impossible.
Almost all I do is eat. I’m so surprised I’m not fat. The foods I would die for are mostly Chinese or Mexican. Every week, I must have Chipotle or Qdoba. I am obsessed. It is definitely one of my needs. One other thing I adore is my mom’s homemade enchiladas. She makes them differently than most people. My family cooks, what can I say? My dad is by far, the best cook in the house. He’s made about everything I can think of! Even my sister is like a gourmet chef, she visited me once and together we make amazing and tasty food.
