S: We loved you before we met you...
BC: Let this exciting journey begin....
A baby is something you carry inside | you for nine months, in your arms | for three years and in your heart till | the day you die." ~ Mary Mason | Pregnancy Journal
We were married January 19, 2008. A few months after we moved to PA I really wanted to have a baby. So instead of a baby we got a little puppy named Tiga. After a while Tiga no longer was enough. We wanted to start our family. In the summer of 09' we became pregnant. We were so excited to begin this wonderful new chapter of our lives. | About Our Family
How We Found Out | On August 19, 2009 our lives changed forever. We were going to be parents! I took a test that morning and when I seen it was positive I couldn't stop smiling. I actually took three just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I was going to be a momma! I texted Allen a picture of the pregnancy test and said, "Are you ready to be a daddy?" He called me right away! We couldn't wait till the 9 months were up so we could meet our precious little baby.

37 Weeks I had baby at 38 Weeks. I was two weeks early much to my surprise.
 A moment in my tummy...
 A lifetime in my heart.
We took our first ultrasound at six weeks. The baby was no bigger than the size of a pea. What was so amazing was that we could see the heart beating! I couldn't help but cry at this wonderful miracle developing inside me.
We took our second ultrasound around twenty weeks. I wish I could've taken one every week. I loved getting a little glimpse of my precious baby. This time we could see baby move and I could feel it at the same time. Such an exciting experience. I wanted to be surprised so we didn't find out if it was a boy or a girl.
I absolutely loved being pregnant. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have been blessed to experience. I had a perfect pregnancy with barely any sickness. I felt the baby move for the first time on my birthday. It was one of the best gifts I could ever have wished for knowing that my baby was alive and growing. I couldn't wait to get a belly. I would lay on my bed at night and just watch the baby move. It made me giggle every time. I loved listening to the heart beat.Allen actually heard the baby's heart beat by putting his ear to my belly. We couldn't wait to meet our precious little one. It was hard for me to keep it a secret very long, so Allen's sister was the first to know. I wanted to wait to tell my family in person. I bought mom the grandmother willow tree. It took her a minute to figure out what we were telling her, but when she did she screamed. " Your going to have a baby!" That was such a fun moment!
A mother's joy begins when new life is stirring inside...
when a tiny heartbeat is heard for the very first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone.
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalm 139:13-16

Friday the 16th of April I woke up with mild cramps. I had been to the doctor earlier that week and was dilated 2cm and was 80 percent effaced. With this being my first one I wasn't sure what to expect with how my labor would go. I was up early that morning and decided to clean the house just in case this was the real thing. That afternoon they started up again a little stronger. I went into the doctor to see if I was actually in labor. Allen and I were so surprised when the doctor looked at us and said he was about positive we would have our baby the next day. Yay! I had dilated some more and was in the beginning stages of labor. We went home and actually went to Craig's for supper. The guys had me laughing through contractions and I was glad to get my mind off of it for a little. They were getting pretty strong by eight o'clock and I wasn't able to talk through them anymore. | It's a | GIRL | 4. | 17. | 10.
We went into the hospital around ten and I called my mom and told her to get to the airport. My labor went pretty quick and by 4:11 a.m. on April 17, we welcomed our precious daughter Skylar Nicole Stoltzfus into the world. This was one of the best days of our lives. Allen and I were in awe of this healthy little baby that God had blessed us with. The labor was difficult but Allen was an awesome coach. The pushing was the most intense. Every time I looked over at him he had tears streaming down his face. When they put her into my arms for the very first time my heart just melted. I couldn't believe she was mine. She was perfect in every way! Its hard to explain the feeling of seeing for the first time your child that you carried for nine months. It was such a special moment that we will always cherish. | Skylar Nicole Stoltzfus | 7lbs. | 5oz. | 20in.
