S: MY WILSON BY NANA WILSON
BC: FAMILY IS FOREVER
FC: WILSON McKAY ROWLEN
1: You were quite special from the very beginning. Even as a child, your Mom wanted a son named WILSON since that was her name...Meredith Norine Wilson. She always loved that name!! Your Dad liked that idea too so he decided that your middle name would be McKay after his Dad's Mom. This was especially important since you were born right after his father's death. You were a wonderful light of hope in a sad time. Your Mom and Dad both are the middle child and you are their middle son. So you are special in many ways and are very lucky to have such wonderful parents. They fell in love with each other when they were just 18 and were married on July 3, 1999 when they were 23 years old. The whole family on both sides were so happy to add you, our second grandson, to our family. You were born on Friday, Jan. 16, 2004 at 4:10 PM and we were all there to meet you. Always remember that your family is the most important thing in your life and we will always TOTALLY love you and watch over you from here or up in heaven. Your friends will come and go but your family is forever. | Waiting for... WILSON McKAY ROWLEN

However, it involved your life changing completely... operations, chemotherapy, hospital visits, shots, more shots, blood taken, blood taken again - LOTS for anyone to deal with, especially a five year old. 51: Life is a lot about attitude. You had a bad thing happen to you when you got cancer but it's not what makes you special. You are special because of your ATTITUDE. You do what you have to do and move on. That is what life is about and the basis of my wisdom as I age. Things happen in life and we work to change them but sometimes we just have to deal and try to spin things for the best. What you do with your life is up to you. You are your own person and will make mistakes and move on. Admit your mistakes, lying never really works in the long run. Remember that your family is always here for you. Do things in moderation, SMILE and you will be happy, be a friend to others and you will have friends but most of all remember that you are loved forever. Tell your Mom you love her every day, you will always be her baby. AND you can always come home. LOVE ALWAYS, YOUR NANA
