 Moving day...more like days!

Thank goodness for the RLC trailer. Before we sold the house we moved items into a storage unit (aka McFall's basement), then when we sold the house, we had to rent another 2 storage units. After that, we moved into a rental for a couple of months. Once the sublease was up we got to stay in a camper for 3 weeks out at the lake. Then we got to live at Grandma's and Grandpa's for a couple more weeks. It was a WILD Summer! Finally using the trailers again, we move into our new house. Hopefully we get to stay here for a LONG time and never again will the kids live in 5 different places in 4 months.e

Easter at Grandma and Grandpa Hildebrand's house. It's always filled with excitement!

He has risen, He has risen indeed!

For easter, we usually get to celebrate hunting eggs with Amber, Aubrey, and Andrew Hildebrand. Owen luckily gets a minute head start before everyone else. Then we get to see who finds the most eggs with money in them. The old ones want the money, the young ones shake the egg, and if there is the jingle of money they put it back. What little kid wants money over chocolate?

My oh my, how each of you grow each and every year. But this basement is always fun for kids of all ages, even Uncle Kevin!

Field Trip to the Zoo | It was a cold and rainy day. We weren't sure if you would get to go on your field trip or not. Your first stop was the Beach Museum of Art. You still talk about the piece that looks like a prairie fire when we drive by. There you learned about the Steepe people and how they lived. After | that, you went to eat at City Park and then you headed to the zoo. You got to see all the animals, feed the goats, and race down the steep hill. It was a great day for everyone! | Mrs. Ahana's Kindergarten Class

Kindergarten | Looking back, Kyra says that her favorite part of Kindergarten was her teacher Mrs. Ahana.

 End | of | Year | Party

 May 2011

Popsicle's on a nice hot day in May | Run Kyra Run!

Field day | Beat those boys

Good Bye Home! | Just a few memories at Nutmeg | We let mom clean the Kitchen Floors before we left for the last time.

Many memories were shared in this home! We will miss you 2504 Nutmeg! | Kyra's Room | Mom and Dad's Room | Our old living room, where we have countless memories that are held close to our hearts. | Owen's room

Our Rental House | The stairs were awesome, but no way were we hauling all the furniture up those for only two months. So we slept on the floor with our dressers hanging out downstairs. | We lived by City Park in Manhattan, so we got to play at the Splash Park pretty often. The house was huge and the neighbors were nice, and some were very loud. But all in all, it was a wonderful house for two months! | The only thing is Owen's room was his crib and a dresser

Kyra loved being around new neighbors, so she could talk and get to know them. She of course needed her bed upstairs:) | It even had a full basement, so we didn't have to travel anywhere for tornadoes.

Happy 3rd Birthday Owen!! | We had a very little party for Owen. Joe, the Hildebrand's, and Grandma and Grandpa were busy, so we went to work at the church office and had corndogs, mac and cheese and blueberries with Eric, Robin, and Phil Brown. Though you did get an awesome Thomas The Train Track.

Once upon a time, there were some quiet woods. The deer pranced through the forest without the sight of anyone. All you could hear was the sound of the crickets, the birds gently singing, and the wind rustling the trees. The sun would shine into the woods on the plentiful poison ivy. Then, the Neely's came!

With a loud 'ERRRR' and 'BEEP BEEP', they scared away the deer by bulldozing down some trees and digging a big hole for the basement. What once was a safe place for wildlife, is now a home for the Neely family. Don't worry, we prayed over the land and during deer season, the deer will find a safe place in our freezer.

Then came the crane to lift the house onto the basement. The kids squealed, they shrieked and then they would get dirty in the creek. The well was dug, three times in fact, to get us water to wash our back. The deer now are harder to see, while the kids and dog are just so busy. We hope here, there will be many years, for us to raise our family with joy and tears.

Our first time to go putt putt. We went to Wildcat Creek

What a good day to have a staycation. Where we stayed in Manhattan, yet had a day out on the town.

Famous Dave's is always tasty after 18 mini golf holes!

Your First Lost Tooth!! Oh how brave you were. You wiggled and wiggled, and tugged at that tooth until it came out. You didn't need any help, you just wanted to do it yourself. I was so proud of you and you were so excited. The tooth fairy came that night and gave you $1!!

Is there anything more fun that riding on a tractor as a kid. Yeah, three kids on the tractor at the same time. And oh the brush pile, right now it seems like it will never go away!

 Schlitterbahn

A day of Swimming Fun! We got there when they opened and was there when they closed. We are a family of water lovers! Owen's favorite ride, probably the kids play area. Kyra's was the Torrent River.

Purple Power Play on Poyntz! | What a way to kick off the football season each year. We always have a super fun time on the free blow-up rides and free food. Then we get to enjoy music, Bill Synder speaking, and of course if we stay long enough, fireworks. Gotta love Manhattan in the Fall.

A Night in the Mall! | What else are you going to do when you have 3 weeks in a camper without a fridge and where the high temperatures were over 100 degrees each day!

 Run Owen Run!

 4 | 7 | 26 45 | Kyra's softball team

Kyra's Favorite Memory from Softball was when she got her Medal! Her favorite position was pitcher. She hit very well when the coach pitched.

You're First day of school at St. George Elementary School. You were so excited to meet new friends and of course go to the same school as Brynn!! Your teacher was Mrs. Nightingale. She likes theater also, so she was able to understand your wonderful personality and your drama gifts!
