Dear Expectant Parent(s), We would like to take a moment to thank you for looking through our profile and for possibly considering us for the awesome responsibility of raising and loving your child. We both are very excited about this adoption journey that we are on, and already love the child that God has created and that He has destined for us, even though we don’t yet know of him/her. We are both very willing to meet you in person, if that is something that you should want. We hope you enjoy learning a little bit about us and our lives together, and we look forward to getting to know you. Brian and Kristi
Who We Are | Our household is 5 strong, 6 if you count the fish. Kristi and I share our space with Nala, our 13 year old Lab, Boo, our 6 year old cat, and Molly, our 2 year old mutt. Molly and Nala have a love for people, kids, swimming and tennis balls. Boo loves to sit up in her "cat tree" and watch the birds outside. They help make our house our home, Kristi and I met online in 2006. We chatted on the phone and online for a couple months, but never met. We slowly lost contact with each other until 2008 when the connection was rekindled. We quickly agreed to meet each other and had our first official date after meeting 2 years previous. Within about 3 or 4 months, I think we both knew that we were heading towards marriage. God had his plan for us and found a way to get us back together. We married in a small family ceremony in June 2009 in Gatlinburg, TN. We are both so happy and thankful that we have found each other and thank God each and every day.
Kristi is a General Manager at a children’s party center. She has been in the industry for several years now and loves the daily interaction she gets to have with children. Brian works in the Legal Department of a large company based here in Atlanta. He has been with the company for 15 years now and is very loyal and devoted to them. We both are proud of the work we do and exhibit professionalism and great work ethic in all aspects of our jobs. We work hard so that we can enjoy our off time together on the weekends. During the summer we can usually be found on the lake or at the pool. We love to spend time with friends and have found the Drive In in Atlanta to be a favorite local destination. If we aren’t off somewhere exploring, you can find us at home either working in the yard or taking an occasional lazy day to do absolutely nothing but catch up on recorded TV shows. We both love trips to the beach and to the mountains. We try to make each a travel destination at some point through the year. | What Do We Do?
Brian is an amazing man; smart, supportive, loving and gentle (I call him my Honeylion). I feel so blessed to spend every day of my life with him. I feel so safe and secure with Brian, he has a heart of gold and will go that extra mile for anyone in need. I love him more than anything and for many reasons, but most of all because he has a desire to be a dad more than anything in this world and it would make me so happy to hear a child call him “daddy”. | Who Is Brian? 7: Who is Kristi? (by Brian) | The first thing I remember Kristi telling me was that her family comes before anything, and if I didn’t like that, then I better keep on looking. Over the years, it became evident that she truly meant it. She loves her family more than life itself and will do anything she can for each and every one of them. She has so much love for those around her and is truly a caring and nurturing woman. Her love and desire for children is only outdone by her love for those fortunate enough to be close to her. I married at 36, and I can say that the wait was well worth it, and that God knew what He was doing all along. I can honestly say that I would be lost and empty without her and I love her with all my heart. She is going to make some child very happy and he/she will always feel very loved.

About Kristi's Family | Kristi w/Nieces & Nephews | Kristi comes from a fairly large, close knit family. She is the third out of four children. The family has grown over the years to include three nieces and three nephews. We are fortunate that the entire family has remained in the Atlanta Metro area and are all a short drive away. Thanks to the close proximity to each other, we get together for all the major holidays, many of the minor holidays, and sometimes for absolutely no reason at all. Kristi's Mom and Dad love to get together and spoil and love each and every one of their grandchildren. They are a great support system, and once we are blessed with a little one, that support system will only grow. Every one of Kristi's family are very excited about the thought of adoption and can't wait to welcome a new addition to the family. The older of the nieces and nephews are equally as excited and have already offered their babysitting services when the need arises. | The kids love their Uncle Brian | Wrestling w/Uncle Brian | The girls Canoeing w/Uncle Brian | Bunco Time W/Uncle Brian

Brian comes from a family of four. He has an older brother that lives in Texas with his wife and two sons. His Mom and Dad, who recently celebrated their 42nd Anniversary, live in the southern part of the Atlanta Metro area. They are a short hour and a half drive away (but hoping to move to our area in the very near future). Since his brother and his family live half a country away, we only get to see them once or twice a year. Usually our nephews will come out for a couple weeks in the summer, but they are getting to the age now that coming out to see the Grandparents isn't as cool as it used to be. We cherish every opportunity we get to spend time with them all, and are looking forward to our upcoming trip to visit them in Texas. Brian and his brother were raised by two very loving parents, who always taught them right from wrong and personal responsibility in life. They also ensured they were raised in a Christian home and that we lived our lives with our Christian beliefs and values leading the way. His family is as excited as we are about adding a new leaf on the family tree. | Family Pic Taken In Texas | Brian & Kristi w/Boys on Vacation | JAWS! | About Brian's Family

Our Home | We live in a single street subdivision in a 3 bedroom house that we purchased shortly before we were married. It has a large, private backyard great for children and dogs alike. We have spent the better part of the past 2 years renovating it, as it was a foreclosure that needed a lot of TLC and updating. We have a few small projects left and we can’t wait to finally have a baby sleeping in the nursery that we have just completed. Knowing that the crib will soon be occupied brings immeasurable joy to both of us. We are within walking distance of a library, park and the middle and high school campuses. We are a short distance to a lake and a childrens complex that specializes in swimming, gymnastics and cheer lessons. There are several children on our street and in the evenings and on weekends, you can always see people out walking their dogs or riding their bikes.

Sunday School (3 & 4 year olds) | Brian and I are both very active in our church. We were both born and raised in Christian homes and Christian values were instilled in us at an early age. We just completed our first year of Sunday School classes teaching the 3 and 4 year olds. We actively participate in church functions and fundraisers, and have been active in a Pro-Life prayer vigil during the Easter season. We would raise our child with the same beliefs and morals we have been taught, and hope that they would continue on their journey with Christ when they are older.
Volunteer Work | MUST Ministries Big Day Out Christmas Wish Tree We have both been very active through our church, work and through an organization called The Golden Soldiers that caters to children with Special Needs. We helped distribute over 3,000 gifts to those in need in the Greater Atlanta area during Christmas. We have also both worked at the MUST Ministries Christmas toy giveaway, helped make sandwiches for the children that are on the free lunch program, and have assisted in food and clothing donations to the organization. We both love the work and hope to get our child involved with charity work as well.
Thank you again for taking the time to look through our profile book. We can only imagine how difficult a decision this is for you to choose parents for your child, and we know that you do it out of great love. We can assure you that if we are chosen, we will continue to pour that love on your child and that he or she will know what a great sacrifice you have made, and what kind of person you are. We pray that you receive the guidance, wisdom and support in this time of your life, and that the decisions you make are guided by God and is done through His will. God Bless you, Brian and Kristi
