S: Our Wedding August 12, 2006

FC: Our journey begins...

1: August 12, 2006 Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church Ashland, Wisconsin

4: The morning of the wedding, Theresa, Karri, Kristin, and Addie joined Amanda at the Upper Cut Salon in Ashland to have their hair done before the wedding. In addition, Amanda's mom Diane, Grandma Hazel, and Grandma Sophie also had their hair done. Mandi, Melanie, Jenny, and Joesph's mom Denise all had their hair done at First Impressions in Mellen. | Addie, Kristin, Karri, Theresa, and Amanda

5: The night before, Theresa and Addie stayed at Amanda's house with her. Before heading to the salon they made a quick stop at the reception hall to set up the flower arrangements on each table and make sure everything was ready! Karri and Kristin met them there and then they all headed to the salon. | The girls brought a table to the salon and set up champane and cheese trays with crackers so they had something to drink and eat while relzxing and having their hair done before the ceremony. | Amanda's mom Diane | The Salon

6: Getting Ready...

8: On either side of the unity candle stood two individual candles that were each lit by the bride and grooms mothers. Diane made the arrangement of cala lilies, hygrandias, and cedar and pine accents secretly cut from Ted's tree's in the yard. The choir was a group of 8th grade students led by Cheryl Heino the choir teacher. These were students of Amanda's. | The Unity Candle

24: Kennedy Schutte and Richard Schutte, Joseph's niece and nephew, were the flower girl and ring bearer. Kennedy was five years old and Richard was four. Richard wore a tux to the wedding that resembled the groom and Kennedy wore a dress that resembled the brides. Amanda made Kennedy's dress out of an old wedding dress that included the same applicae, style, and had a long train just like the bride. | Flower Girl | Ring Bearer

It was a white cake with a cream cheese filling, three tiers, six small rounds, covered with white flowers and greens, and displayed on top of a satin table cloth laced with beaded applique made by Amanda's mom. The cake was delicious!

42: Amanda presented Joseph with a wedding gift during the reception, a black lab puppy he named Synder. Synder was born May 30th and stayed with her mom until the week before the wedding. Then she spent the week of the wedding at Amanda's and was brought to the reception by her cousin Andy and then brought back to Amanda's mom and dad's afterwards. Amanda's mom and dad then brought Synder to her new home the next day.
