3: Though the average salary of a pediatricians is around $142,585 per year that is only a range. There are several different factors that may play into what a pediatrician actually earns. One of the biggest factors is the number of years they have been practicing or the level of experience that they bring to the position.
5: Education | Need a bechelor degree. | Must graduate from medical school
6: Moving Up | You can start off as an assistant to some renowned pediatrician. Learn things and then move on for an independent practice.
9: Next Ten Years | In the next ten years pediatric opportunities will increase . | It will increase 22% from the year 2010-2020
10: Typical Work Day | Work an average of 50 hours a day. | Includes working in the office, visiting patients, and paperwork. | Office hours login at 8:30 or 9:00am and continue until 4:00 or 5:00pm. | They see about 127 patients a week.
13: Yes or No ? | Other than the great salary and the influence I can have on society. The most important thing is caring for the children. From prescribing medicine for an ear infection to helping find a cure for a deadly disease. This is the career I want to pursue.
