1: Re-Constructive Surgery Noun: Re-creating a part of the body that has been injured Re-constructive surgery would often be preformed when a soldier was injured during WWI and WWII. Re-constructive surgery can also be used during the modern day. Some examples could be if a firefighter was in a fire and they were burned they could go to a re-constructive surgeon and they are able to have the option to look more "normal". Another example could be if someone was in a major car accident and they got a part of their body torn off or crushed the Dr. could do some work and make it look more natural. Example of Re-constructive procedures: Rhinoplasty, Breast reconstruction, and Facial Fractures Trauma | Cosmetic Surgery Noun: Improving a persons appearance, removing blemishes and wrinkles Cosmetic surgery usually doesn't involve breaking the skin and removing pieces of bone and tissue. Cosmetic surgery is most often associated with Botox and Laser treatments on different parts of the body. Botox is used for removing wrinkles and plumping limps. Laser treatments are used to remove un-wanted hair and also can remove un-wanted dark spots. Some examples are when actors and actresses get wrinkles and feel old they'll get botox to remove their wrinkles and or they'll get a laser teatment so they no longer have brown spots on their body.
2: How long does plastic surgery take? | Plastic surgery can take just 30 min or they can be 5 hrs. The average amount of time taken for a plastic surgery procedure is probably 3-4 hrs. Breast implants or removals, botox, and laser treatments can take 30min to 1hr and 30 min. At the same time it can take 5 to 7 hrs just for one procedure like a tummy tuck and rhinoplasty (nose job). Everything depends on who the procedure is being done on, if they are in good health and will they react to the procedure badly or good? You never know.
3: Origin Of Plastic Surgery | Brief Facts: You may think that plastic surgery is just getting started and that not everyone knows about it. Actually it's one of the oldest types of surgeries. Plastic surgery has been around for roughly 4,000 years or more but it wasn't until the 18th century that doctors began using anesthesia during re-constructive procedures. These procedures have been thought that they were only allowed for the rich but has spread widely through very many types of people. Where it all started: Records show that the Branca family in Sicily began practicing plastic surgery procedures. But Tagliacozzi of Bolonga, Italy is credited for the modern day plastic surgery procedures. After Tagliacozzi's death plastic surgery disappeared for nearly 2 centuries. Many surgeons tried to replicate Tagliacozzi's work but failed many times. It slowly came back and more and more people started to know about it. And now almost everyone does!

6: Risks for plastic surgery? | There are quite a few risks for plastic surgery. A lot of things can go wrong with a procedure starting with the anesthesia. Anesthesia can be very dangerous. It can be fatal if to much is used during one procedure. In fact, doctors suggest that if you are going to have more than one procedure you should wait for the next day for the 2nd procedure, because the dose of anesthesia would be to much and could be fatal for you. A couple other risks are leakage of silicone: (implants, a plastic gel-like substance)and botox: (is made from Botulinum Toxin Type, a protein complex produced by a bacterium, which has the same toxin that results in food poisoning.) Silicon can leak and is does not have the ability to be soaked up by the body like siline implants:(made up of salt water). If silicon were to leak it could be deadly unless removed right away.
