1: It was a new school year and the girls’ basketball team was looking for a freshman coach. Naturally Patricia applied for the job and waited to hear if she would get an interview or not. Little did she know that the Varsity coach took it upon himself to walk to her classroom to meet her. It was the middle of 5th period on October 5th when A.J. Greenough walked by and interrupted Patricia's Class. He asked if she had second lunch and when she confirmed said he would come back. Well little did he know that the students decided that day that the two of them were going to get married and informed Patricia. Patricia laughed it off and told the kids they were silly. A couple days later she got the job as the freshman girls’ basketball coach, and the rest is history.

5: "Will You Marry Me?" | My heart was pounding and almost no one heard me over Patricia's excitement. It was obvious to everyone in the room she had said, "YES!" | I had bought some costume jewelry at the mall the night I picked up Patricia's ring and asked Jenna to pretend that she had gotten her three sisters presents from Germany. I bought boxes and placed the two pieces of misdirection in their boxes and Patricia's ring in her box. Catheryn was first to open hers and everyone played along and acted excited about her terrible present (super cheesy), Kim did the same but she did not know what the jewelry was and neither did Jenna which would have made most curious, but not Patricia. I finally stepped in and mentioned what it "could have been" which made people laugh that I would figure that out before a group of girls... Moving on... Now Patricia had her box and she began to open it and felt the ring box that was under the tissue paper. She opened the paper up and saw her engagement ring and looked like she was going to jump up and run laps around the house.
6: We could not have felt any luckier to have found each other. We shared passion and love for the sport of basketball, but with time it became more than that. Once two coaches talking about game plans and players, was now two love birds talking about life plans and families.
