1: Dear Birth Parents First and foremost, Thank-you for being such a courageous and unselfish person. We cannot even imagine or fathom the emotions you must be feeling. We do know however that you love your child and want nothing but the best for them. We are hoping that is where we come in :-) We would love the opportunity to not only have our lives changed for the better by knowing you and loving your child but hopefully touch your life for the better as well. God has placed it upon our hearts that just because we cannot have biological children does not mean we were not meant to be parents. There are unselfish loving parents like yourselves that are looking for someone to love and take care of their child. We feel we can be that someone. We are excited that God wants to use us to enrich the life of a child. We cannot wait to see what God has in store for us. We will be in constant prayer for you as you make this very difficult decision. We pray that God will lead you and give you an overwhelming peace.
2: Our interest in adoption was started with a seed planted by God into each of our hearts. When we learned we more than likely would never have biological children, we took the perspective that there was some reason we couldn't have children and whatever that reason was we would just have to deal with it. Deep down however we both felt empty and hurt at the thought of not having a child. We not only wanted to share our love with a child, we wanted to feel the love of a child. God never gave up working on our hearts though. He planted a small seed in each of our hearts that pointed us in the direction of adoption. Soon that seed took root and blossomed. We both felt hope again. We felt God had healed our hurt of not having biological children and gave us hope though adoption. He opened our hearts and minds and showed us that our longing to bless and be blessed by a child was possible. Maybe not in the way we had thought, but just as special and real as if we had a biological child. God opened our hearts to a very precious gift. THE GIFT OF ADOPTION! | OUR JOURNEY TO ADOPTION

5: We met through our best friends. They were husband and wife :-) I (Melissa) was in college at the time and not really looking for a serious relationship but Andy hung in there. We hung out at our friends house a lot together and soon became the best of friends. When college ended I soon realized that Andy was the perfect match for me. We soon started dating officially. We were married on August 5, 2006 and have been madly in love ever since.

10: We live in a 3 bedroom/2 bath ranch style home in a very quiet neighborhood. We have a very open floor plan and plenty of space. We have a spacious kitchen that is open into our dining room and is attached to our living room. There is a sitting/reading room with an electric fireplace. One bedroom is used as an office, one as our room, and the third as the nursery. There is a detached two car garage, a deck off the back of the house, and spacious backyard. Our neighborhood is very quaint. We are far enough off the main road to feel like we live in more of a suburb but close enough to town that if we need anything we are close. We are approximately a half mile from a walmart, meijer, restaurants, schools, church, and hospital. | Kitchen A place for full bellies and laughter | Sitting Room A place to relax | Family Room A place for movies and fun!

14: Fall is our favorite time of year! We love the changing colors, the wonderful fall smells, and all the fun activities that go along with fall. Some of our favorites are our county fair, the cider mill, and the color tours and walks. Every year we go to our county fair. We love the atmosphere, all the booths, and the over all fun. We also visit the cider mill and apple orchard, They have a u pick orchard, cider press to make their own cider, and a donut shop where they make fresh cider donuts. One more fall family favorite is the changing leaf colors and taking walks outside to look at all the beautiful colors and enjoying that fall smell.
