1: On March 11, 1973, a little bundle of piss and vinegar named Robert Lawrence Sanders entered the world. | According to Mom, it was a difficult delivery. It was Rob. Whaddya expect? | It was the beginning of something special.
2: The Early Years | Rob always kept it classy. The hard hat and smoking jacket were regular wardrobe features.
3: I love the one with our mother. How sweet. Rob is reading his picture book of Russian and Soviet authors. | The matching suits...gotta love it.
4: What's with Easter eggs and no pants? | Rob was overjoyed when he scored his first pack of smokes for his first birthday. He was such a happy baby.
5: You gotta admit, this is brotherly love at its best. | This was taken on Elmerine. It is where I pushed Rob down the stairs. I think he ashed in my Kool Aid.
6: The Vermont years were a challenge | But brothers stick together.
7: The years at UVM were a lot of fun. Rob and I took classes together. In Russian Lit we both made A grades. | As for Professor Stoler's class...let's just say Rob was a little "preoccupied" with other exciting things. | Life in College
8: In 1995, Rob graduated from college and went to Russia.
9: and for the last 16 years we have been together in Missouri
10: Rob was my best man when I married Jodie in 2002. | His toast was epic. It received a standing ovation.
11: Who can forget the baseball games with Dad?
12: Visits with Mom are always entertaining.
13: We even set up a Twitter feed for The Juje. | It is a good thing Dad is on such good terms with God. He might have some concerns.
14: Hanging | Hanging with Jess, Kyle, Joe, Trotter, and the Columbia crew are always fun.
15: If we are lucky, Jess gets to make Kitty Burritos. | Trotsky is mellow after a few cocktails.
17: Of course we have fun with our critters: Trixie, Baron, Trotsky and Hutch. | Rob calls his cats "The Boys." | Rob loves Baron, too. He just thinks Trixie is a superior animal.
18: In May 2012, Rob will receive his Master's in Educational Leadership from Mizzou. I think he will make a great college administrator.
19: We don't see each other as often as we like. Rob takes one for the team and ensures Mom's bourbon does not go unused. | But you know, Rob and I are at our best... | just being brothers together
