2: Once upon a time in the land of Verona lived two families called the Montague's and the Capulet's. These family's have hated each other for many years
4: Romeo, a Montague, was in love with a girl named Rosaline, but sadly she didn't love him back. One day Romeo went to the Capulet's costume party. There he spotted the beautiful Juliet. The minute he saw her he instantly forgot about his love for Rosaline.
6: Lucky for Romeo, Juliet felt the same way. The only thing getting in the way of their love was the hate that there families had for each other . Juliet was set to marry Paris but after meeting Romeo she was determined to cancel that option.
8: The next day Romeo and Juliet expressed their love by getting married privately in Friar Lawrence's cell. The only other people who knew about the marriage was Juliet's nurse and the Friar.
10: Later that day Romeo's good friend Mercutio is killed by Tybalt (Juliet's cousin). Romeo then takes his rage out on Tybalt and kills him. After the Prince finds out about all of this he banishes Romeo from Verona.
12: When Juliet hears about what happened she becomes slightly depressed. Her father than tells her that she must marry Paris the next day. The news is unbearable for her so she goes to Friar Lawrence hoping he can help
14: Juliet explains her problem to the Friar. He tells her to go home and pretend she wants to marry Paris. Later at night she is to excuse everyone from her bedroom and drink a potion he is going to give her. The potion will make her look like she's dead. The Friar will send for Romeo and will go to the tomb with him to get Juliet. After Romeo and Juliet will escape to Mantua together. Juliet then takes the potion and returns home. Later that night Juliet does exactly what Friar Lawrence told her to do. The next morning the nurse comes into the room to wake Juliet for her wedding and soon realizes she is "dead". The Capulet's heart broken yet again have another funeral, but this time for their beloved daughter. | Mantua: Town outside of Verona
16: While all of this is going Rome's servant Balthasar goes to Mantua to deliver the sad news to him. After hearing about Juliet's death Romeo goes to an Apothecary and buys a poison that will kill him instantly and makes his way to the tomb. When Romeo gets to the tomb he sees Paris. Paris, thinking Romeo is there to destroy the tomb fights Romeo and ends up dying. When Romeo sees Juliet laying in the tomb he states how beautiful she looks, even in death. With one last kiss Romeo drinks the poison and dies next to his true love. | Apothecary: pharmacist
18: Soon after Juliet wakes up and wonders wear Romeo is. She then sees him laying next to her dead. Trying to find a route to escape life she kisses his lips hoping to get some of the poison. When that does not work she looks for something to kill herself with and spots Romeo's dagger. Hearing the guards coming into the tomb she quickly stabs herself and dies.
20: When the two dead bodies are brought to the Prince he becomes enraged. He asks for the Montague's and Capulet's to come forward and asks them if they have realized the affect of their actions. In the end the Capulet's and Montague's put aside their differences and become friends. They decide to build gold statues of Romeo and Juliet to remember them by. THE END
