To: Mom and Dad Thank you both for the fabulous trip it is something that we will all never forget. From: Shawn, Christy, Tyler and the Code-man

After spending a night in Oklahoma City we got up to get on the Train the next morning.

We were waiting to board the train. Cody and Raigan kept themselves entertained. Jolie well she was not a happy baby having to sit in that seat until Nana took her out.

On the Train and ready to go!

The sign behind Ryan says Restrooms closed due to repairs, guess you just have to hold it till we get back on the train!!! | What do you know you find just about anything at the Fort Worth bus station! | Our Michael Jackson look alike! | Our Short layover in Fort Worth

We arrived in SanAntonio that evening around 11:00pm, we were all tired after the long train ride. When we left the train station to go find our rental house this is what we saw. The Towers of the Americas all lit up and this is just a quick shot of the train stations sign lit up to. We all made it to the rental house but not without some cussing and discussing, as Jerre Lou would say. When we got to the house we all had to take showers and get the kids all down for bed as they had a big day ahead. As we were all getting done, Ryan our master plumber came downstairs with this big wad of hair that he pulled out of the drain. It looks as though they haven't cleaned it for YEARS. I was good times that night had by all.

The whole family got up early that next morning so that we could all head out to SeaWorld. There was shows to be seen, dolphins, sea lions and birds to feed. And then it was to get Grandpa on one of the roller coasters with all of the big kids.

First up was the Clyde the sea lion and Seamore the otter show. It was really neat to see the behind the scenes of how they teach them how to do there tricks....I think that Jolie and Grandpa liked it!

Then it was on to see Azul the dolphin, acrobatic show. They sure do get them flying way up in the air.

Sitting in the SPLASH ZONE. Waiting for the show to start. | The BIG whales waiting to start the show. | SHAMU

Look at all those flips and jumps, boy did we get SOAKED

Day 2 at Sea World | We all posed for a picture when you came in the main entrance | First stop was to have our pictures in front of the BIG SHAMU | We decided that on day 2 of Sea World that we were all going to wear our swimming suits so we could all get wet. Notice Mark knees. Well someone forgot to tell him, that if you have dry knees don't put your self tanner on to heavy.

Then it was on to feed the dolphins. All the kids LOVED this, even the BIG kids. We all got to pet them to. They feel just like a rubber inter tube of a tire when it is wet. | I think the dolphins where more excited to see us then we were them. They LOVE there fish

BUT MOM I WAS JUST STANDING THERE....REALLY | Next stop was to feed the sea loins but first we all went by the Atlantis water ride, it comes down the shoot it sprays whoever is standing there with water, it was nice and refreshing on a HOT day. Then we fed the sea loins, when they are hungry they come up and slap the water and bark at you.

I believe the Lorikeets LOVED Tyler and his sweaty head | The Lorikeets were licking the sweat off of Tyler | The Lorikeets were flying around free in this cage and one of them landed on Jolie's stroller she wasn't to sure about it being there.

This was the Cannery Row Caper show. I was a blast Jerre, Dori , I and all three big kids set in the splash zone, boy did we get wet | This is the splash, getting wet and the after.

This was the walrus that was the bad guy in the show they had him sliding across the stage and then had him do sit ups | After the show Jolie was tuckered out!

Tyler getting ready to ride his first roller coaster. Grandpa and him sit in the very last car of the coaster. He thought it was fun but we couldn't get him on another one.

This show was amazing to see, these whales and their trainers..WOW! love how the whale like to splash you. We got wet that whole day! | Shamu the Whale

Azul at night under the lights

The Rainforest Cafe was amazing and all the animal looked so real.

The River Walk tour. It was really interesting to see and hear how the River Walk came to be. | This is the Boat we took. See Mark I really do love you!!

Ripley's Believe it or Not and Wax Museum | Harry Potter | Tyler Loves MJ's music | Jerre and Oprah | The kids in the biggest tire in the world wow it really makes them look small. | Cody and Ryan standing next to the tallest man in the world, he was 8' 2" tall wow that makes Ryan look short and Cody look really short. | No words to explain!!!!

The ALAMO | We toured the inside of the Alamo and learned the history behind it, you are not allowed to take pictures inside as it is a sacred building. Nana and Pa outside the front door with all the kids.

We visited the Children's Museum in San Antonio. We explored the ball pit and getting the balls to hover with air. I think that Jolie liked the Ball pit the best.

Cody and Tyler driving the dump truck. | Cody driving the dump truck by himself. | The kids found the bubble maker. | Cody and Raigan playing store with a old time register.

The kids got to do lots of amazing things as the children's museum. They got to play bank, chess on a large scale and they got to act like they were the Control at a airport. | Tyler and Cody playing bank | Tyler playing chess on a large scale | Cody and Raigan being bankers | Tyler and Cody being air traffic contolers

The kids had the chance to play grocery store in the downstairs for the museum, they learned how to shop, weigh food and to checkout the items that where purchased, they had a ball doing it. | Cody and Tyler shopping, although the basket was a little short for Tyler. | Ryan found out that he had crabs that day!! | Raigan and Cody ringing each other up...Wow those are some big purchases. I hope you have enough $$$$ for all of that!

The kids were able to mine for different kinds of rocks, what they found they were able to keep. They all brought home a sandwich bag full of different rocks.

These are some of the old signs that Mark remembered from his childhood. | While walking down the side walk Dori walked across this grate that was blowing air and her skirt flew up like Marilyn Monroe's.

As we were walking to find lunch we ran across the Texas Ranger Museum and the BuckHorn Exchange restaurant. Cody loves to watch Walker Texas Ranger so we thought it would be cool for him to get to see it | But officer...REALLY we didn't do it!! | You had the wall of heads and the wall of beer bottles.

The big boys went deep sea fishing, it had always been a dream of all of theirs to get to go out on the ocean and to reel in a big one. The boat they fished off of was a 100ft and it was over crowded so they didn't get to fish like they were wanting to. The sea didn't get the best of them though, Shawn caught a 3ft shark, and Mark and Ryan caught some red snappers. On the way out they were able to catch the sights of the sea. They saw flying fish, a shrimp boat, oil derecs and cargo ships. Amazing what the ocean has to offer. | DEEP SEA FISHING with Dad

We had decided to go to Corpus Christie and one of my dreams was for Cody to go to the USS Lexington, as he is such a history buff/

Each of the kids were able to pretend that they were flying one of the jets and then we went on to the ships deck and they were to pretend that they were steering the boat in the ocean waters. My oh my was that a big ship it was really cool to get to see how soldiers live when they are out to sea. An the history on it is just awe inspiring.

As you can see aboard the USS Lexington there was lots of History for the kids big and little to see. They were able to get in the bunks to see what it was like to sleep on the ship and man were they tight quarters. They were able get in the brig to see what a jail cell was like. We even captured Ryan and put him in one. Then they found out that the soldiers did everything on the ship while it was out to sea. They did not have the luxury of just driving to town to do their errands. They ate, slept and did everything on there, it was like a town within the ship. We saw the barber shop, the dentist office, the doctor's office, post office and also the cafeteria and the sick bay and many man more things. I and I hope that my kids were truly inspired to see how they lived, slept and took care of daily business.

The Texas State Aquarium was our next stop where we were able to see and pet sting rays, see monster see turtles, dolphins swimming and playing and lots of fish, birds and other sea life. | We are all trying to get the sting rays to come over to us so that we can pet them.

I think I hear the ocean waves!! | We were all in awe of the dolphin show at the aquarium.. they were truly amazing. at the end of the tour they had a place that the kids could touch some of the sea life.

We ate dinner that night at a local seafood restaurant, Cody was able to get his crab legs that he so LOVES. | This would be the first time on a ferry ride for any of the kids | We were able to get out of the car to peer over the side of the ferry to see the ocean.

We made it across on the ferry ride to Port Aransas. It would be the first time that any of the kids had been to the ocean. We took Jolie out of the car and put hr down on the sand and she was not to sure about it and how to walk on it then figured it all out and she was a happy little girl. We had gotten to the ocean late that night but decided to stop anyways so that way the kids could get to experience it. It was decided that we would come back the next day so that the kids could get into the ocean and get to play and build sandcastles.

 OF FUN

Writing in the sand, looking for sea shells, playing in the waves and building sand castles it was fun had by all.

That night we did not get home till the early morning hours, Mark, Ryan and the Kids all went to bed as Mark and Ryan had to get up later that morning to dive us back to the train station as out train was leaving at 7am. Jerre, Dori, Shawn and I all decided that we were just going to stay up to get the rental house cleaned up, laundry done and suitcases packed. By the time that we had that all done it was to late to go to bed. Well we figured that we would all sleep on the train ride back to Oklahoma City. Here is what you get when you have had a lack of sleep. | ALL ABOARD TO OKLAHOMA CITY

Hope that you have enjoyed your trip back to San Antonio and Corpus Christie. This was just a little piece of the pictures that we have. We wanted to create you both something that you will treasure. Once again THANK YOU for such a wonderful trip. Love you, Shawn, Christy, Tyler and of course the Code-man
