BC: The End.!

FC: Life Of The Scottsboro Boys By: Whitney Collins

It was a cloudy day on March 25, 1931, when a group of nine black boys were riding on a train to visit their grandmother.

They went by the names of Ozie, Clarence, Charlie, Olen, Willie, Haywood, Euqene, Andy, and Roy.

With those nine boys there were two whit girls with them also. They went by the names of Victoria and Ruby.

All of a sudden a group of white boys approached them angrily. One of the white boys threw the first punch. A major fight broke out.

The black boys threw the white boys off the train. Obviously they had lost the fight, and they were very angry.

So the white boys were so upset that they went to the Alabama police sheriff.

The sheriff rounded up his boys and they went out looking for the black boys.

They found them and arrested them all. They were held custody in jail for at least 2months long before the sheriff set out to look for the women that were with them.

After the months the police set out for the white women, and found them. They were so shook by all the questions they asked, that the girls allegedly accused the boys of assaultinq them in a wrongful way.

The boys were sentenced to years in prison. Through the years people tried to help them, knowing that they didn't belong there.

Finally the IDP people helped the boys get out of prison, after they spent nine long years of no sunlight no family, and no friends.
