1: Dear Friends, Another year of Simone’s Kids has come and gone! Believe me when I say that this year has been truly special. With the help of our loyal donors we added over 100 children to our sponsorship program. Our, A Classroom for Christmas project, had 3,000 Christmas cards exchanged and we raised enough funds to finish building our school. The year was a particularly difficult year for me, I lost a very special child named Henry due to Aids. For several months I struggled to accept his passing. I can now say that I am truly thankful for everyone that supported me during that difficult time. I would like to especially thank all of our supporters for making the year of 2013 such a massive success! Because of your generous giving, many lives will be forever changed. I wish there were grander words to explain the impact that each of your donations made in each child’s life. It is a blessing to see children transition from a life on the streets to a life full of hope. My hope is that when you look through this yearbook that you realize the difference you have made! Thank you again for your amazing support! | - Simone Puccinelli -

9: We had a large team that traveled to visit and minister to our children. Our team worked very hard to get everything accomplished while we were there. The team included Laura Wescott, Seth Plimpton, Greg Plimpton, Mason Satterfield, John Cotton, Micheel Espinosa, and Simone Puccinelli. | Summer Mission's Trip | We were able to treat the children for an assortment of health care issues. Our team mainly focused on treating the children that had jiggars in their feet. Jiggars are a parasite that crawl into the bottom of the foot and plant eggs. It is very important to remove the jiggars to prevent more serious health issues. | Dental care is not something that is taken seriously in the area where we work. We took a day to teach the children to brush their teeth and about the importance of keeping your teeth clean! The children had never even seen floss!

24: A Classroom for Christmas was such a success! We had children from 12 different schools across the United States send cards to our children in Uganda. In return, we had our children send a card back to every child. There was 3,000 Christmas cards exchanged in total! We had a few extra Christmas cards in Uganda and we asked our children to hand them out in the local hospital to sick children. This task turned into a great learning opportunity for our children. We were also able to raise $50,000 through online fundraising and speaking engagements. With the funds we were able to finish the Building A School project!
