the roles of women women were not treated as fairly and good as men they cooked and cleaned and did as told.they were also expected to train there daughters to be house wives and only left there house
to preform religious duties and were treated like a lower class. they were not allowed to eat or sleep in the same room as the men or go to the market or any where in public.
the roles of men men were treated better then women in many ways like they partied and went out to exciting events while the women cleaned and worked hard. men were in charge of | the house and were considered the most important people in greece. men disrespected there wives and all women.
every night men would lay on the couch and be fed grapes and expensive wine. almost everyone in greece had slaves even the poor had at least two slaves and the rich men had at least five slaves and the slaves were not to help the women unless they were assigned to them
the roles of a boy... boys went to school at age 6 and then at age 10 begin to be trained by there father and then at age 12 they train for there future job and are expected to stay healthy by playing sports
and if the boys wanted to join the army they would start to train at age 15 and joined at age 18.
the roles of a girl... girls cleaned and worked also after being trained by there mothers and sometimes but very rarley learned to read and write from there mothers but never went to school and at age 16 girls | where to throw away there toys and marry to a man there father chose usually in his thirtys
girls were treated badly like women and even if they did not realize they were being treated like lower class next to boys or men. as they grew up they begin to work more and more and slowly became a teen then married then a house wife and they began to become a women the only diffrence is now as we get older we get more and more freedoms well then they got less.
