FC: Spain | November 2013
For Thanksgiving 2013, I traveled to Fuengirola, Spain to spend the week with my parents, John and Gro Agersten
The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. SAINT AUGUSTINE | My parent's apartment overlooks the Mediterranean. It was too cold to swim, but it was beautiful. I did stick my feet in it, just to say I did.
The view, the bridge over the canyon, the old buildings and narrow roads are incredible!
Took a bus-trip to Mijas, a picturesque, white-washed town in the hills above Fuengirola. It was very charming and the view was spectacular!
Architecture should speak of its time and place, but yearn for timelessness. FRANK GEHRY | CORDOBA
 THE GREAT CATHEDRAL/MOSQUE IN CORDOBA
Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living. MIRIAM BEARD
There were many interesting things to see in Cordoba besides the Cathedral/mosque,such as Roman ruins, the market, a Jewish quarter, and the modern center of town.
With a statue of Hans C. Andersen
 MALAGA | MAIN STREET
One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. HENRY MILLER
Roman amphitheaters, Moorish castles, and spectacular churches;so much history to see in Malaga!
Loved all the white-washed houses contrasting with the bright pots and colorful flowers.
Thanksgiving dinner with mom and dad - Truly thankful to have been able to spend this time with them.
An evening walk in Fuengirola before heading back to Texas-the city streets were decorated with Christmas lights
