FC: STEPHANIE CONKLIN March 19, 1986
Your very first photo! You are so cute. I think you were sucking your thumb even then. | I n February I found out you were breach (that means that you were stubborn and decided that you did not want to turn around and stand on your head) Your Dad was in southern California with Grandpa Conklin when the Dr. told me this I was given options on what to do and it was at that time that it was decided that you were going to be a C- section Baby. It was also in1986 when your Dad visited Fallbrook and fell in love with the area. He brought back a Ewok for Beth. He loved all of the flowers. | The Baby Shower. It was held at Mat Su Resort In Wasilla. | Your Dad use to talk to you with a paper towel tube when I was pregnant with you.
The night before you were born and I was ready for you to be born. | The Palmer Hospital called me on March 18th to tell me that the schedule C-section that I was going to be awake for was not going to happen because the 3 anthesologist were not available that did the local. One was on vacation, one was out sick and the other had a family death. So I was told I could come in as schedule but I would have to be put out for the proceduere or I would have to wait another week because they only did the planned C-section on Wednesday's guess what I decided to do?
Your very first official photo taken at Palmer Hospital. Welcome to the world STEPHANIE LYNN CONKLIN daughter of David Alan Conklin and Donna Jean Tryck Born at 10:19 Am
You had lots of visitors at the hospital. On the day we were being released to go home your Dad came straight from work, I was ready to get out of the hospital. He laid down on the bed while I sat in the chair waiting to get released. It was 3 long days of being at the hospital before they would release us to go home.
We came home and it was snowy out because I was not suppose to lift and carry Mom came up to help for a couple of days. She and Beth went out to build a snowman while you and I took a nap. | You were a happy baby and your sister loved you, don't know when that changed. | As you can tell your bottom was very large that was because you had to wear 3 diapers. That was because you were breach. The Dr. was trying to get your legs to lock into place
