FC: Disney Cruise October 6-9, 2011

It's time to sail on! | Taking photos while waiting to hand over those boarding passes. | Lets prepare to board!

Our first meal aboard. Cabanas Food Court | We were starving and couldn't wait to eat lunch. The food was fantastic. | Mickey's ears on the glasses.

Disney's Aqua Duck is a "water coaster" that ends in a lazy river. It was awesome.

Our room wasn't ready. We found a way to keep ourselves busy....DISNEY CHARACTERS...

Pink is a champagne bar inspired by France's finest champagne. It makes you feel like your inside a champagne bottle.

I had to take a photo of the elevator exterior. This ship puts you in a dream. It's called The Disney Dream for a very good reason.

Our Cabin 5515 | The virtual porthole was awesome.

 The Butler family bathroom.

 Let's get settled.

Now we can sit down and take a deep breath. Witney is holding a Wave Phone. Each room is issued a set of phones to keep up with each other. We didn't really use them. We stayed in touch the old fashion way.

 Checking out the Oceaneer Lab.

A life size replica of Andy's room in Toy Story.

You can't tell from the photo but Mr. Potato Head had removable parts.

Monster Inc. | Aaron watching the dance floor change colors.

Leaving The Oceaneer Lab and headed for Part II of our lunch at Cabanas Food Court.

It was windy on deck ! | Sail On!

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and the rest of the gang welcomed us aboard with an awesome Sail Away Party!

It was very windy on Deck 12.

Enchanted Gardens is inspired picturesque gardens of Versailles. It's where you go for dinner and wait for something magical to happen.

The Sea Bass and NY Grilled Steak was music to my mouth. That is Disney music to my mouth.

The Butler Family sleeping quarters for the next 3 nights! It was very tight in cabin #5515.

We headed back to our cabin after attending The Golden Mickeys. Nassau, Bahamas here we come!

We woke up the next morning excited about breakfast at Cabanas. We learned from the previous cruise the best breakfast spot is not in the dining room...yum. | Lets Eat!!!!

We didnt' get off the boat in Nassau, Bahamas

 Instead we enjoyed The Aquaduck!

Nassau, Bhamas | The view was wonderful.

After lunch, Aaron and I took time to meet a few characters. We decided to take advantage of the light crowds. Most people were off the boat enjoying Nassau, Bahamas. We have been to Nassau many times and wanted to enjoy what The Dream had to offer. | Mickey Mouse

 Pluto

 Donald Duck

 Chip and Dale

 Minnie Mouse

" | we decided to get some refreshments before playing Midship Detective Agency Mystery game.

 Midship Detective Agency

 Dinner at Royal Palace

 Royal | Palace | Dinner

We went back to our room to rest our tummy's. Dinner was absolutely fantastic. Next we are off to the Walt Disney Theater to watch a show!

Disney's Villains show was exciting! I didn't realize how many villains Disney has created over the years. Here are some pictures of my favorites!

All hands needed on deck to save The Disney Dream from Captain Jack Sparrow. Disney kicked it off with their classic fireworks at sea!!!

The Pirate's Buffet immediately followed Club Pirate. We recently ate dinner a few hours earlier. Unfortunately, we can't digest food that fast. However, I thought this was unique.

I almost forgot my signature. The start of every book. We always take pictures of the room number. The rooms are very unique because your room key must be inserted to power up the room. No lights or TV without a key!!!

Our luck ran out on this cruise. We didn't go to Castaway Cay due to bad weather. Our captain couldn't safely take us into port.

Witney and I took advantage of some things offered on the ship. We went to Any One Can Cook class. We didn't actually make the Lobster Ravioli but it was very tasty. It definitely couldn't take the place of the BBQ usually offered on Castaway Cay, but we made the best of it.

Animator's Palate was extremely interactive. The cartoon characters interacted with the guest at dinner. The utensils looked like paint supplies. It was dining in true fairy tale Disney style.

The presentation of the food was incredible. It tasted as good as it looked.!

Our room was ready for us to catch some....

After attending our final show, Disney's Believe (left page) we headed back to our room to pack our suitcases. It was a great getaway! Good bye Disney Dream the Butler's are heading home!

Before departing home we had our final breakfast at Animators Palate. It was a wonderful send off in Disney style.
