FC: Florida Baseball Trip 2012 | 2012 | Florida Baseball Trip 2012

1: The Eagles loaded up the bus and began their trip to hot and sunny Florida!

2: To pass time on the way down south a freshman singing contest was held.

3: Along the way, the bus passed many land marks, including "The Arch" in St. Louis!

4: The Eagles stopped for one night in Memphis and walked down Beale Street, which had tons of great restaurants.

5: One of the places visited on Beale Street was the famous bar Coyote Ugly

7: Finally the Eagles had landed in Florida and were able to play baseball!

8: One of the teams the Eagles played was the Minnesota Twins!

10: On the final day in Florida the team was able to relax and enjoy the sun on the beach.

11: The Eagles began their 24 hour bus ride back to Madison. After a busy week they were exhausted and slept the whole way.

12: How to Make Your Own MixBook! (Secondary Education) Description: The overall goal of our task will be to create your own story using your ideas, pictures, and words. Projects will be done on the website Mixbook.com and then students will share their creation with the class in presentations. Directions: 1) Students will spend three days with personal cameras taking pictures and them bring the memory card or USB drives with their pictures to class. 2) Pictures will be uploaded onto computer 3) Students will then go to www.mixbook.com and create an account using their personal email. 4) Once logged in, select "mini photo books" to begin creating story.

13: 5) Play around with the different backgrounds and themes until you find one you like. Once found, select the type for your minibook. 6) Once theme is selected, go to photos and click on "Add Photos." Select your personal photos uploaded to be used in your story. 7) Once you have photos uploaded, try out different layout options for your story pages. Add your photos and text accordingly. 8) If you story comes with too many pages, delete empty pages by clicking on them in the bottom of the screen and pressing "delete." 9) Once story is finished (pictures in order, correct spelling and grammar, ect.) click the save button on the top right of the screen. DO NOT hit order. 10) Plan out a way to present your mixbook story. Presentations will take place during class in the following days.
