1: The 1960's was a decade that broke many fashion traditions, girls were introduced to go-go boots, mini skirts, and the Pillbox hat. For men, the new fashion introduced Plaid Shirts,Turtlenecks and Nehru Collars. Their clothes represents the style for the 1960's.

More than 200,000 peaceful demonstrators came to Washington DC to demand equal rights for Black and Whites. This famous speech made history because it helped African American get equal rights

Many top rock musicians were there. It lasted three days, a weekend of music, love and peace. This event had many famous singers and bands that represented the music of the 1960's.

This worldwide event was a start of new technology that would be used for generations.
