FC: The "Archangels" Bob, Punkin, Moozer and Beaner
This is the story of four Angels . . . | Bob | Punkin | Moozer | ... and Beaner
"I'm Bob. You might say I kind of started things out for my mom. She was starting a new chapter in her life in 1986 when I decided she needed me to keep her company and to take care of her. Angels Punkin, Moozer and I were mom and dad's original kitties. We all lived together on a teeny houseboat called 'Starry Night' before mom and dad moved to the Archangel"
"I did my job really well! Took care of mommy for 20 years! I was the HoH! But in 2006 it was time for me to watch over her from above, at the Rainbow Bridge." | "I was an excellent big brother too! I looked after the young ones and taught them the ways to enjoy life - like a good nap! MOL! Here I am at 19 and a half years old with my baby brother, Sealegs!"
"My name is Punkin. I was the second oldest kitty in the family. I arranged to have my daddy get me for mommy in 1996 when I was just five weeks old!" | "I was so tiny when she got me that Mommy used to carry me around in her overalls!
"I was always a bit of a loner. Orange guys are special, ya know! *winks* My favorite activities included napping and . . . | . . . well napping! MOL! In fact, mommy listed 'very good sleeper' as my bestest skill on my Catster page!"
"Of course, I was pretty fond of food too! Here I am settling down for a nap after just finishing my birthday tuna one year!" | "And I also had to contend with a lot of young un's around the houseboat! Here I was ---> looking at some new kitten mom brought in!!"
"But there comes a time when we have to move on to the tenth life. On May 21, 2010, a few days before I made my journey to The Bridge, I held mommy's paw to let her know that everything would be alright.
"This is me. Me who you say? Well Moozer of course!! I can safely say that I was mommy and daddy's best black and white boy cat ever! And of course, mommy loved me most! You can tell by the way she is hugging me! Mom said I was 'a good hugger!'" *Editor's note: We won't tell Moozer any different.
"After Bob made his journey, I Was the fearless Captain of the Archangel Crew! I was the "alpha male" and the oldest cat on board ship! And every fur respected me!
"Before I became mommy and daddy's cat I didn't have such a good life. In fact, I had been thrown out of the window of a car and the oil delivery man scooped me up and took me to the Archangel, to mommy! It was meant to be!"
"I had such a good life with mommy and daddy! Here I am being purrfectly adorable." | "And here I am giving my 'bedroom eyes' look!" Excuse the nose, that was a chronic dermatitis that did not bother me a bit!"
"My handsomeness may have been what attracted the love of my life, Kujo." | "Or it could have been the fact that I was such a romantic mancat! Here is beautiful Kujo with a gift I sent to her."
"My Kujo became my bride on May 3, 2009 and I was a happy mancat!" | "Kujo is an angel now too and we are having such a wonderful time together at the Bridge!"
"I was such a handsome mancat, artists just couldn't resist trying to capture my image!"
Captain of the Ship! | "It's like looking in a mirror!" ---->
"I had 17 wonderful years with mom and dad on the 'Archangel.' But all old sea captains must retire someday. On January 7, 2012 they kept their hardest promise to me and let me go. I watch over them now from Rainbow Bridge."
"Hi! I'm Beaner! I'm the youngest of the Archangels. It's a funny story how I got my name ... when I first came inside I had a funny mark on my nose, just like my brother, "L.B." Mom thought L.B. was my daddy so she called me "L.L.B." - Little Love Bug! That became "L.L. Bean" so I am "The Bean!" MOL! It's a funny name and I was a funny little guy!
"'Shadow' was my fur mommy's name. I was the only boycat in a litter that she had on August 13, 2008 in a shed at the marina where we dock our houseboat." | "My real mommy rescued us all though!" "She found good homes for my siblings, but 'cause I was the onliest boy she had to keep me!" | <---- real mommy
"I was the family clown! But making mom smile was important work!"
"On October 5, 2013 I was called suddenly to the Rainbow Bridge. I felt real bad that I didn't get a chance to give mom a proper goodbye. But you see, they really needed a little clown up here. I watch over mom though and I've been working on making her smile in her dreams."
