City Overview | Now that I have graduated, I plan to move to St. Louis, Missouri. I chose to live in this city because this city is my hometown. I also like the overall environment of St. Louis. The overall population of this city is 354,000 people. It is close to Clayton, Webster Groves, and University City. Some great places to visit for fun are, the Missouri Botanical and the Gateway Arch! Some of the major industries of the city are Engineering, Accounting, and Legal Work. Crime in this city is medium!
Standard Living | I am going to live at South Summits Apartment. The rent for this apartment per month is $715 dollars. I don't need to pay any deposits or fees to move in! Some of the features of this apartment are washer and dryer connections! Other bills that I will need to pay each month will include: electricity, water, cable, phone, and Internet.
Household Items | The apartment that I chose came equipped with things such as a dryer and washer. Therefore, I still had to purchase things such as a refrigerator, cooking utensils, silverware, and so on. With the assistance of my graduation present, I was able to buy all my essentials for the household, and have extra to spare! I had $665.07 extra. The majority of these funds were spent on furnishing. Some of the priorities in the furnishing of my apartment were the beds, shelves, and so on. Fortunately, I didn't have to do without anything!
Transportation | At this point in the project, I can afford this car! I have chosen a Honda Civic as my form of transportation. This car costs $14,998. I'll need to pay $449.50 per month on a loan term of 36 months. The APR is 5%. The total paid is $16,182.00! The total interest is $1,184.00. I chose this car because I like the outlook of the exterior and interior of the car. I also like the blue color.
Grocery List | My total grocery bill for this month was $218. I purchased items in the follow categories : Meat, Dairy, Hygiene, Produce, and Non-perishable.A majority of my funds were spent in the produce category as fresh food is best food! Produce also contained most of the essential food items such as bananas. I believe that this list will be sufficient in supplying myself with food for a full month. In drafting this grocery list, I learned the difficulties of finding what you need sometimes.
Entertainment & Miscellaneous Items | After paying all of my monthly bills, I have $1510 left to allocate for this section. I allocated money toward my savings, home maintenance, and vehicle maintenance for if something goes wrong, I will have a location of money to rely on. I allocated money in hair salon service, clothing, shoes, as they are necessary things for me to wear. Finally, I allocated money in entertainment for my own fun! I have $3276.17 after deducting all of these costs.
