The University of Alabama | I attended The University of Alabama, located in Tuscaloosa Alabama. I choose to attend The U of A because of it's proximity to my parents home and the beautiful campus.

At the University of Alabama I majored in Psychology. Now I am looking for a job as a psychologist.I choose this profession because O wanted to help people who need it.

My Profession | I chose to be a Psychologist because I want to help people with mental diseases such as bipolar disorder. Psychology is the study of the human mind and I want to be able to understand the human mind and its depth. Lastly,I want to be Psychologist to help people like my father who have mental disabilities. As a Psychologist I will be expected to evaluate individuals to determine if they have a mental disorder, diagnose individuals with mental disorders, develop treatment plans according to the disorder, prescribe medications, keep records and

refer individuals. As a Psychologist I'll make 186,520 annually and eventually my goal is to run my own Psychiatric practice.

City Overview | Now that I have graduated,I chose to start my life in Colorado Springs, Colorado because of the beauty of the city itself. Another reason I chose C.S. is because of the nearness of the Army bases, and I plan to work with the military as a Psychologist eventually. Finally, Colorado has the perfect climate for me, not to hot and not to cold. The population of Colorado Springs is 431,834 (2012), and the city is located near Pueblo, Denver, and Canon city, making it the second largest city in Colorado.

While living in Springs, I will visit the many cinemas, restaurants and arcades that are the cities main forms of entertainment. Most people in C.S. work in the Service/Manufacturing fields, helping and creating things for the citizens of Colorado Springs. Crime is at a medium rate in my city, and most of the crimes are thefts, and very few murders. | Colorado Springs Municipal flag->

Standard Living | In Colorado Springs, I am going to live at Union Heights Apartments, with a rent of $715 dollars. I will have to pay a $715 dollar security deposit, just to move into my apartment. My apartment features include, a Refreshing Outdoor Pool, a Cyber Café with Wi-Fi in clubhouse and pool area,Upgraded Interiors,Year-Round Hot Tub,Gorgeous Remodeled Clubhouse,Sauna,Private Theater Room, Washer/Dryer Included in each Apartment Home,24-hour Fitness Center, and Extra Storage. Other bills I will have to pay are, a 125 dollar electricity bill, 50 dollar water bill, a 66 dollar Cable/Internet/phone bill, and a 75 dollar renters insurance.

Household Items | My apartment came equipped with, a washer and dryer, refrigerator, and stove, therefore I had to purchase living room furniture, bedroom furniture, dinning room furniture and electronics, with the assistance of my graduation present. This amount gave me additional money for the month. The majority of this money was put to savings. While furniture shopping I made sure to get the necessities, luckily i did not have to go without anything.

Transportation | At this point in the project I can afford a car, I got a used 2014 Honda Accord that cost, $21,998. I will need to pay $659.30 a month to pay off my car in three years. I choose this car because of the gas mileage and looks of this car.

Grocery List | My grocery bill this month was 493 dollars, I spent my money on meats, general items, dairy products and hygiene products. A majority of my funds where spent on the General category, because it was a mixture of all items from food to cleaning items. While planning this grocery list I learned some proportions are not reasonable at all, and that I need to be healthier and try to eat right.

Misc.& Entertainment | After all my bills for this month, I have 2,534.31 left to spend/ save. I have decided to put 10% of my paycheck into savings, 250 into a fund for emergency home care, Vehicle Maintenance $250 Fast Food $90 Haircut $60 Entertainment $100 Clothing $100 Shoes $100.

Author's Note | This project has informed me a lot about, the cost of living and how hard it is to actually be an adult, so I would like to thank the teacher who pushed us to complete this project and actually learn about the cost of living, Mrs. A. and Secondly I would like to thank my parents for everything they do for me. This project has made me realize it isn't always easy to be an Adult and that it's harder with kids and I thank you for trying to raise me right in the world we live in today. Thank you.
