1: At first slavery was used as punishment for heinous crimes , such as kidnapping , adultery , and murder. it began as strangers coming into the African's homeland. and capturing every person they could find. | Children were caught and carried to the slave ships , they had cloth stuffed into they're mouths so they couldn't scream. men , women , and children were tied together, they're hands were tied behind they're backs.

2: Tons of Africans were dragged onto the slave ships and forced into the lower deck of the ship . thousands of Africans were pilled onto the boat. and were taken to America .

3: Once there , there were actioned off, and because of it people were separated from they're family.

5: saves were forced to work, picking cotton, growing wheat, rice, and other grains . the men and young boys had to work in the fields, while women worked in the home .

7: Don't think: Look! -Ludwig Wittgenstein | Slaves were beaten for disobeying they're owners , or even trying to run away.And if captured , they were brought back and beaten or hanged. These punishments were warnings to others who attempted to run away, or fight back.

8: -Aristotle | But latter on , slaves learned that they could buy they're freedom , or agree to help the slave owners capture others.
