1: Creator of: Walt Disney Company

2: Walt Disney was born on December 5th 1901 to a poor farming family, in Chicago, Illinois. His parents Elis and Flora Disney had 5 kids, Walt, Herbert, Raymond, Ray, and Ruth. As a teen Walt went to McKinley High School (although he never finished) and also took night classes at Chicago Art Institute.

3: On July 13th 1925, Walt married Lillian Bounds in a small ceremony in Lewiston, Idaho. In 1933 Lillian gave birth to the couple's first child Diane. In 1936 the couple adopted another child named Sharon. Walt was often described as artsy and fun but was serious and made sure things got done.

4: Walt Disney Company was created in 1923. Walt's vision was to create an entertaining and informative company. The headquarters are located in Burbank, California and has around 149,000 employees. Walt Disney Company makes an annual revenue of $35 billion with a lot of it coming from the companies 5 theme parks.

5: Walt Disney has changed the world in many ways through his charitable donations and philanthropic efforts. Walt donated thousands of dollars to charity as well as helped Toys for Tots. Even drawing the Toys for Tots logo, which is still in use today. He has also won numerous awards including 22 Academy Awards and 7 Emmy Awards. Walt was also an innovator of animation, and was the first person to create a movie using all animation. Walt Disney also came up with the idea of Mickey Mouse, and was the voice of Mickey for many years after.
