3: To my Husband, Today I'm marrying my best friend. My life completely changed when we met three and a half years ago at that Michael Jackson cover band concert in November 2008. The past years of dating have been the BEST years of my life and I'm so excited for us to continue our adventure together as husband and wife. We bring out the best in each other and I seriously don't know what I would do without you. You are my support, my rock, my lover, my partner in crime, my whole world, my everything. When making this book for you, I realize even more, that I'm not the only one who loves you. Your family and friends care so much about you and they all have so much love and respect for you. TJust one of the many reasons why I love you is because of your love for others. hank you for always taking care of me and treating me like a princess! I will continue to take care of you and Crosby and our future babies!!! You are going to make an amazing father. I love you more than I could ever say. Today is the happiest day of my life! Thank you for being you and loving me the way you do! Can't wait to see your handsome face at the alter and have our first kiss as husband and wife!!! Love, Your Wife
4: Clinter, my little “bagel boy”, you are extra special to me. Mark was my first-born, Amy is my only daughter, but you’re special and unique for several reasons. You’re my only child I witnessed being born, you chose to go OU, my alma mater, you pledged my fraternity, Lambda Chi, and you followed your great-grandfather, your grandfather and me into the oil and gas business. Now you’ve found a wonderful girl like your mom to share your life with, and I pray for you both every day that God will bless your union with the same happiness and satisfaction that Mom and I have experienced in our marriage and in raising our family together. I love you very much and am so proud of the man you are and are becoming. Dad
5: Clint, or as many years ago: “Clinter for Dinner”, I always told you that you were my easiest child to raise which is true. You have brought us great joy through the years. There are so many things I remember about your growing up times that give me smiles! I even remember the last spanking you ever got... watching your distress and little dance was just too much for me and I swore “never again”. We are blessed to see you grow in character, integrity, and wisdom. You made wise choices in friends, life decisions and now in your life partner which is paramount. I always told you, you would find someone you love more than yourself and I can see that is true in Emily. We look forward to many years of family times as you and Emily grow together. I remember writing in your high school annual the scripture I always claimed for you and prayed with your name inserted...”Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean unto your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path”. I feel God HAS directed your steps. Always know how much I love you and am so proud of you. Mom
7: Don't think: Look! -Ludwig Wittgenstein | Clint, Clinner for Dinner, Uncle Tank, I can't believe you're getting married! You're just growing up so fast. Thank you for being such an awesome little brother and friend to me for all of these years. I am so thrilled that you have found Emily and that she will now be a part of our family. Guy and I wish you both the best! All my love, Amy

13: Clint, I have to admit I've always been suspect of the guys my sister dated. My extensive background check of you revealed nothing but glowing reviews of you and your character. As we got to know you, we quickly found these things to be true and i think you're an excellent match for Emily. In addition, your 500-yard killshot of the condor gives me great confidence in your fortitude to protect my sister. Amanda and I look forward to all the fun adventures that our families will have in the future. Welcome to the family bro. -Justin
14: Clint, I'm so happy you're officially joining the family. Justin and I were so excited to be able to celebrate your engagement weekend in NY. The fact that you chose that time and place surrounded by the family shows how well you know Emily and what is most important to her. You're a great addition to the family, welcome! -Amanda
17: Clint- Welcome to the family. Truly I cannot think of a better person to marry my wonderful sister. She is truly blessed and we are blessed to have you in this family! Ryan
19: Thoughts of Clint jump all over our minds from the first time we met him. Dad was wondering if this was 'the one'. I watched and listened. The four of us had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Pacific. Everyone talked with energy, especially, Emily. I noticed how Clint watched over Emily with great care. He focused on her every move and possible need. He was in touch with her, without words being present. This continued with all of Emily's medical 'issues'. Clint seemed to feel all of Emily's pain, putting her first, always. I so appreciated his calls to us and his concern to understand these 'issues'. My heart filled with the love as this man in her life took care of our little girl. Randy and I so enjoyed our time with Clint and Emily in Mexico. It was a good time with ease and laughter. He showed true interest in our little man, Hayes in the apartment or in the pool. Clint was such a trooper with the fishing trip----being so ill, yet onward he went. Randy noted that this showed commitment and he would follow through on all his future projects. It was the best of time with Clint. We felt we finally knew this man that would be our daughter's husband. Clint warms our hearts as we see Emily in love with this man. He will take her hand and care for her as we have since her birth. He loves our independent, 'girlie-girl' and we couldn't be happier! She loves Clint. And that is how life is to be. I have watched.....and it is all perfect! All our love, Momma and Dad

30: “Looking back on the memory of the dance we shared ‘neath the stars above; For a moment all the world was right. How could I have known that you’d ever say goodbye? And now, I’m glad I didn’t know the way it all would end, the way it all would go. Our lives are better left to chance; I could have missed the pain but I’d have had to miss the dance.” --Garth Brooks Clint, I hope you have enjoyed our dance as much as I have. It seems like only 14 years ago we first met. You were immediately fascinated by my Norman lifestyle, and it is only fitting that you are to marry a Normanite. I don’t think I have lived with anyone else in more locations: the LXA house, Debarr and that weird moon house on Fairfield. We created some great memories along the way, from watching our dreams disappear at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Austin as an overrated Hawaii team collapsed on the road to a pesky Tulsa team to recreating the infamous travel call by Coach Todd in the ultimate one-on-one showdown between you and Vonlanken. I can only hope that Vonlanken someday comes forward with the truth about that call. We have traveled the country together: Vegas, New Orleans, Memphis, Austin, Kerrville, Miami, Kansas City, Tulsa, Crested Butte, Colorado Springs and back to Vegas a few more times. There was even a trip to Mexico. We once played a 36-hole ultimate death match where I believe we both shot an amazing 111/110. We enjoyed nights at Brothers and OTB, betting on everything imaginable from women’s to European sports, constant battles at golf, basketball, poker, fantasy football and more. Over the years, you have become one of my closest friends and I hope that never ends because you have made my life a lot more entertaining. So congrats to you my friend on marrying an awesome girl, and I look forward to continuing our dance. Chad

45: Clint, may you be rich in blessings and poor in misfortunes, quick to make friends and slow to make enemies. However rich or poor, quick or slow, I hope you experience happiness wherever you may go in your new life. Congratulations! NickyRob | First, everyone please look at stover's tank top tan. Best bachelor party ever! Ok seriously though...Clint is definitely one of the funniest people I know. Half of the time he knows it and the other half it's just Clint being Clint. Either way, he'll always be himself and that's what we love about him. Emily, you know you're getting a great guy. I'm so glad to be celebrating with y'all tonight! Lackey
