FC: Trans-Atlantic slave trade
1: it took place across the Atlantic ocean from the 16th through the 19th centuries. most of the slaves were Africans.
2: the | The journey across the ocean was long and very hard. Many of the passengers died because of unsanitary conditions and the smell was unbearable. They only had 18 inches of room to sit.
3: Many died but one of the main goals was to keep as many people alive until they reached the "New World". Many of the Africans were afraid of the white people. Once they reached the new world and were here for a while they calmed down. Some slaves were treated pretty good and some were treated terribly.
