S: Wynne's First Year
FC: Wynne Anthem | The first sweet years of her life | February 2011-2012
When I went for my ultrasound at around 21 wks., I found out I was having a girl!! I was so excited and not altogether surprised due to how different this pregnancy had been: more nausea and crazy emotions. Towards the end I struggled with anxiety and was very uncomfortable. One of the ways of coping was redoing the 'blue' baby room into something a little more girly. I used Wynne's birth announcement as my inspiration. | Waiting and Praying...

I can't believe I have a little girl to call my own! It didn't take you long to have me wrapped around your finger. I pray for strength from God that I may have and keep your heart always. I love you! | Your mama loves you with all her heart! I know that I am so vey blessed to be able to mother a little girl and I pray that the Lord gives me wisdom!
Everyone was excited to see you! | Milo Ames | A. Havilah | Ephraim | Connor & Mama
 G r a n d p a | G r a n d m a
You are so beautiful to me!
Your brothers love you so much! They can hardly leave you alone. Thank goodness you are fairly tolerant of all the unique positions and constant moving!
I love to share with others the awe and wonder of new life and the overwhelming sweetness of holding a warm cuddly baby in your arms. | U. Kevin | Alexa M. | Grandma great | A. Havilah | Laura R. | A. Sue
The weeks after you were born were sweet days of good recovery. After all the fatigue before you were born, I felt like I was getting lots of sleep even though I was getting up twice in th night. Grandpa and Grammy Boyd were here while we were in the hospital watching the boys (with no electric!!), so they left when we got home. A. Sue came the week after you were born and stayed for a couple days. That was lovely. Grammy got to love on you for a couple days at the end of the month when she came out again. Emily Wolf was living with us and she came home after being gone for 2 mo at a CAM volunteer project. She has to get used to a busy and somewhat thrashful family life around here. Not much down time, that's for sure!
Sweet baby dear, I love you so I pray that you may come to know the One who formed the world and planned to make you grow. The one who died and rose again that we could have eternal life with Him. ,
We got to go to A. Katy's baby shower on March 18th. I left Connor and took the other boys and Wynne with me. We went to Grandad and Grandma Brovont;s first because they hadn't seen you yet and we hadn't been there for awhile. I'm sure they feel like it was just yesterday that they were in our shoes. There is something about seeing the older with the younger that makes a heart tender, knowing that we will all go through that phase too, Lord willing. . | Love
On a Saturday in April we took the boys and went to the Ohio Caverns and the Boonshoft Museum. We went out for breakfast at Bob Evans and took a packed lunch with us. It was a rainy day and we were glad to spend it inside with our children! | A Day... with just Us!

He is not here, He is risen!!
After church I snapped a few pictures of the children. It is quite an accomplishment to get a good picture of all four of them at once.. Daddy does most of the antics to get them to smile and look, but he soon despairs! | On Easter morning we had company here for breakfast. We sang and read a little from the Word. We enjoyed being with the ones here from Lower Twin. We started this centerpiece for the table a week ago!
I threw a pasture party for Grandma Oyler's 50th birthday. We took our dining room table out to the pasture and decorated with my vintage things. Elaine came early to help me. We surprised mom by having Neil and Heidi come. Even though the day started out as a dreary one, it t was a beautiful evening!
On Mother's Day we met my family at the Wilshire Park. It is a lovely place to be with all of the children. There is a bike path that goes all the way around the park, area to play ball, a merry-go-round, and a shelter house to eat in!
Dominik K. Boyd May 11, 2011 | Such a pretty baby! Grandpa & Grammy Boyd finally have a baby close enough to get their hands on frequently!
We went to see them the weekend after he was born. It was a quick trip. We left on Saturday afternoon and came home Saturday night. But it was so fun to see him and spend a little time with U. Brad's and Grandpa & Grammy! He made Wynne seem huge!
 Happy Days
Milo is 5! and is he ever excited! He got a ball and glove, a broom, and a scooter. The electric went out due to a wind storm, so we stayed in and played telephone.
Wynne started flipping over from tummy to back on May 28th. She is 4 mo. old. She started sucking her thumb when she was 3 mo. old. The boys were all 2 mo. so I wasn't sure if she would or not. I am sure glad she did! I started putting her in her bumbo when she was 3 mo. and she liked it!
We traveled to Cleveland to get our black Suburban and got to go see Lake Eerie since we were so close. The boys loved the water and it was a great thing to do to break up the day of riding!
 handsome brothers
Mitchell is now 7! I can't believe how time is flying by! He got a ripstick and was so excited. | These hot summer days we all hanker after the cool water! We all went as a family to Markley's pond and even Wynne enjoyed it!
Campout at Grandma Great Brubakers..... enjoying the warmthe and the company! | Wynne went to sleep in the hammock at U. Calvin's while the cousins played baseball.
My hear warms when I see the love Mitchell shows for Wynne. He loves to hold her and she loves him too. She touches his face all over.
Wynne's 6 mo. snapshots. Such a beautiful evening, such a beautiful girl! I can't believe I have a little girl in pink!!
We had our annual family campout at Grandpa Boyd's this year. The boys went fishing and came back with enough for everybody to get a taste!
 Connor is 3!
Camping with the Oyler's at France Park... beautiful weather...too bad many were sick!!!
Fall has arrived and it is beautiful! The boys anxiously await the combine and wagons so they can ride with U. Roger! I love this time of year...it never seems to last long enough!
Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, Rejoice!
It has been a joy to watch Wynne grow into her personality. She is full of boundless energy! I can hardly keep up most days! She went through a real fussy spell with nasty diapers and all, but no new teeth as far as I could tell, so we weren't sure what it was all about. She is my first baby that has preferred me over Ryan...so sweet! We try to memorize every antic, smile, and laugh! So fun to experience a girl!
The Brovont babies! | Wynne Vienna Lexie Dominik Eliza | Wynne took a ride on Grandad's chair. | My beautiful family ready for Christmas together! | 2011
Oh how lovely it is to spend time with the ones we love! We made and decorated gingerbread houses for our immediate family Christmas at our house and it was so much fun! The boys really had a good time and it was way more relaxing than I thought it would be! I made a photo book of the grandchildren for Grandpa and Grandma Oyler for their gift. It was fun to see their reaction!
