As Jet Hidakitsu and his 6th grade friends were playing on the swings near Lake Cheko, Russia, something terrible was going on in space. A comet was going into Earth's atmosphere. As the hurling ball of ice, dust, rock, and frozen gases flew towards Earth, no one knew it was coming.

At once the sky split in two with a giganic BOOM! Jet looked into the sky to see a dark red inferno of power. This almighty rock can destroy lives, porperty, and buildings with minimal effort. This comet was heading right for them at Lake Cheko.

As they could do nothing to stop the huge beast, they just waited. In all of their heads was the image above. Until they saw the comet get smaller and smaller and eventually fall right to Jet's feet the size of a marble!

They were overflowing with joy and as they were screaming and cheering, news reporters arrived out of nowhere. They were asking these little kindergärtners how they were able to be so brave. They all replied," It was jet who told us to calm down and take control of the situation.

AS you can see above this is one of the sections of the areas of the 800 square miles that this comet devastated. Fortunately, the story you just read about was surprisingly fiction. this comet burned millions of trees in a matter of minutes. one minutes yo see an abundant lake and the next you see and incarnated forest.

Now this is the beautiful Lake Cheko now. the best known method for stopping a comet now is using a nuclear weapon. Also, sending a small spacecraft into it to destroy it. These methods have never been used but they are ready. This is of course very expensive. Thanks for Jet for stopping the comet.
