Dedicated to my parents: Leland and Twila Wiren because my mother taught me to love seasonal photography, and my father taught me to love taking pictures.
If you pay very close attention, you will notice there are two or three weeks every autumn when nature turns into a masterpiece. Autumn is so alive with color! The bright hues are a crescendo in the symphony of nature.
The variety of seeds and berries insure food for the birds and other creatures as well as new plants for future seasons of our lives.
The brilliant crimsons and scarlets create breath-taking sights.
Autumn is fresh mustards and golds silhouetted against a shocking blue backdrop of sky.
Autumn is toasty warm cinnamon browns reminding us of nutmeg and oregano.
Fall is autumnal light shining on leaves and through leaves making the earth appear to glow.
The lively colors of fall stay hidden in our hearts like a promise throughout the long, cold winter...
...the promise that the beauty and color of spring will one day return.
