FC: Melinda Kier | God's LOVE NEVER Fails
God's Love Never Fails Melinda Kier
"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. ...I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground." Psalm 143:8-10
"...The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. " Zephaniah 3:17
Today, you may feel alone, abandoned, lonely, unloved. But, the TRUTH is that you are never alone. The Lord God Almighty is always with you, leading, directing, whispering His love for you. He will provide the strength and courage you need to get through whatever you face today. Trust Him and His promises and know that He will turn your mourning into singing and ashes into beautiful things. He will give you the "peace that passes all understanding" as you put your will and your life in His hands. Let His love wash over you, let His words fill your heart with love and understanding for whatever you are experiencing today. He loves you! O, how He loves you.
"Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. He satisfies my desires with good things.... For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear him; But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with those who fear him." Psalm 103:1-2,5,11,17
Thank Him daily. Praise Him continually. His love for us is unconditional, it never ends. We may feel like we're alone in the desert place, but His arms are around us and He is ready to carry the load that feels overwhelming to us. He has broad shoulders to carry every burden and every worry. Praise His Holy name and rejoice for He is great.
O | "O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord. You hem me in, behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. .....your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast." Psalm 139: 1-8,10
"...See how the lilies of the field grow." Matthew 6:28
When you are caught up in fear and worry about how the bills are going to get paid or when that next job will appear, or how you're going to feed your family, ,remember to look at how He takes care of all the beautiful flowers, trees, and animals of the forest. He loves His children as He loves all of his wonderful creations and the PERFECT father....will always provide what we need. It is our job to develop trust in Him, believe His promises without doubt, and have Faith that He is busy working behind the scenes to provide for us. Work on developing that "listening" ear....so that when he does give us directions or sends an Angel in our path, you'll know it is from our Lord. Don't forget that you MUST do your "footwork" also. Pray, listen, then get busy.
"...not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." Matthew 6:29
"...But seek first His kingdom and his righteousness.... ...do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. ...store up for yourself treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:33-34, 20-21
"This is what the Lord says-- your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the Lord, who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself, who foils the signs of false prophets and makes fools of diviners, who overthrows the learning of the wise and turns it into nonsense." Isaiah 44:24-25
When I forget what He can do for me and with me, the Bible is full of reminders. "...I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws." Ezekiel 36:25-27 These promises are for me and for you. They are meant to remind us that He, indeed, is a restorer...lest we forget. He takes the clay that He formed and that we, sometimes, re-shape according to our whims and desires and, when we let Him, He restores, rebuilds, re-shapes according to His glorious plans.
Read the Bible daily. It is full of wisdom and stories that give us hope to persevere and overcome. Let His words wash over you, fill you with His love and encouragement. For, if we are to inherit His kingdom and realize all that He has to give us, then we must live according to His wishes for us. He loves us and wants only the best for us...not necessarily what we think is the best for us. Sometimes our deepest desires are actually the worst thing for us. See His guidance and wisdom in all things. Pray and then be especially attentive to what He has to say back. Read, pray, listen. Take action. Then give thanks for ALL things...even the seemingly bad or difficult things.
 SING PRAISES TO OUR KING....
Today, if you're struggling in some area of your life, be it financial, relational, health issues, career, or even the death of a loved one, know with absolute certainty that Jesus is a friend we can turn to and count on to help carry any burden. Pray and thank Him for all of His blessings, tell Him that you need help and then expect that solutions will come. Ask Him to reveal His plans for you and the way you should go. Listen for His voice. Be ready to take action. Lend a hand to someone who needs help, listen if someone needs to talk; being of service to others gets our thoughts off of our own troubles. Finally, examine your relationships and encounters with others. Is there any area where you've been unkind , impatient, indignant, rude or harsh? If so, this is a great time to make amends. Pray, develop a servants heart, make amends., have an attitude of gratitude.
