 Fall In the Ozarks

No one really expected a very colorful fall this year because we'd had such a dry summer. We were in for a very pleasant surprise.

Besides the beautiful colors, we were blessed with temperatures in the 70's for weeks. I wouldn't mind fall at all if it was always like this!

On November 6, I decided to go driving around Eureka Springs and take some pictures of the local fall foliage. Many of these were taken on Spring Street. All that were taken that day were in Eureka Springs or the immediate vicinity.

All of the photos on these two pages were taken along Spring Street.

The photos on these pages were also taken on Spring Street.

These were taken on Spring St. as it heads into the historic district

After driving up Spring Street, I | headed out toward Lake Leatherwood. | The top left photo, facing page, was taken on Spring Street. | The remaining pictures on these 2 pages were | taken either at the lake, the park or | on the road going down to the lake.

The pictures on these two pages were taken on the road to Lake Leatherwood.

 Rockhouse Road

The photo below was taken at the park downtown where Magnetic Dr. meets 23 N. The others were taken at various spots around Eureka Springs.

All the photos on these two pages were taken from my yard or in front of the house | HOME

These were taken on the road between Green Forest and Berryville

These were also taken on the road between Green Forest and Berryville.

These were all taken on the main road in the business area of Eureka Springs.

These two pages are more pictures of the view across the valley between Eureka Springs and Berryville.

 Tigger | Kismet

These three pictures and the one on the back cover were taken on my front porch.
