Pre-digital photos leaves this terrible exposure picture the only evidence of our first weekend together. I stayed with Jeff and Mary Brown over new years 2005-06 and we met friends for lunch. Jeff wisely invited Jordan to join us for games after lunch. Its a good thing too! I was clueless while Jordan says he knew "thats the girl I'm going to marry". | Jeff, Tana, Breena, Jordan
 Our story
Calling President and Sister Neilsen to tell them we are engaged. The story hit the mission field fast. It was quite the story coming 7 days after Chad Banks and Lisa Walker got engaged.

The serene seclusion of a sweet rain forest beckons you from every root and mossy limb. The pristine beauty of glistening waterfalls and abundant foliage invite you to relax in a private rock-carved pool for two as the peaceful sounds of exotic wildlife wash over you like a cool mountain breeze. Bask beneath dense leafy canopies and let the rain forest envelop you in its refreshing mist. You'll find many surprises await you in your own private Emerald Lagoon.
We stayed in the Rexburg AmericInn our first night. Saturday morning we drove to Orem for our open house then stayed at the Little America in SLC. Check out the chocolate piano! I am impressed with my husbands thoughtfulness. | Honey Moon
 Travel Joys! | Delta Nightmare
A computer glitch reseated the entire Cancun flight, alphabetically. Jordan sat at the back while I was in the center next to another newly wed couple. I was grateful for the older gentlemen seated next to Jordan than insisted that we be reseated together for the four hour plus flight. "I've been married 30 years. Four hours apart is a vacation. But you? Newly weds should sit next to each other," he said. The stewardess found someone to switch seats- he did have 2 to himself but he refused rudely at the last minute. I stood in the isle feeling very conspicuous. I almost cried. How mean! The other men glared at him until he gave in. I was so relieved. | Its a Party in Mexico!
Spider Monkeys | Coba Maya Day Trip | We arrived at our all inclusive resort to find that the "minor" construction blocked off the center of the resort and our sea-side room held a view of the neighboring buildings. All ocean views were blocked by large sheets of plywood painted blue. | The electricity went out every day, using the blow dryer threw the breaker. Only one of the three resort restaurants was open and in the end we used the catamarans at the resort and took our scuba lesson in the pool and opted to spend our other days
OUR OWN | ZipLining across a small lake. | lesson in the pool and opted to spend our other days out on day trips. We watched shark attack shows on Tv...not the most reassuring for my second ever ocean trip. Ah, the memories!
The tour guide agreed to let us ride across twice. We went first and then ran the 1/2 mile around the inlet to do it again at the end of our group. We barely made it in time.
The second time down Jordan's stick was jerked free. With no way to slow down he hit the spring (read- cord wrapped in foam and duck tape for 20') at full speed.
"Hold on! I'm going to jump in!" -Jordan jumped. I lost my balance. In the process of trying to get back in we capsized the canoe. I swam to shore with my shoes and non-waterproof camera floating on my life jacket. The tour guide helped Jordan right the canoe and he followed me to shore. It was pointless for me to try to climb back in!
Breena is still dripping from her dunking.
We ate a traditional lunch prepared by the Mayan women of this community.
Getting Back To Nature | “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable.” ~ Helen Keller | Rappelling
View from the top! | On top of Nohoch Muul Temple | Bike taxi | We hiked to the top and took pictures. I mentioned that it would be awesome to get a picture of us on the top. Jordan ran the camera down, we posed, and he passed out from heat stroke -ok not actually but nearly.

We hiked through a long jungle trail that wound through such beautiful vegetation that I wanted to take a picture of everything! We saw birds, butterflies and monkeys. When we exited our wanderings we came upon this traditional Dance Of The Flyers ceremony. One man sat on top of the pole playing a wooden flute while the other three hung by their heels and unwound the entire way down.
