H O W W E M E T | So this day is slightly disputed, however this is the day that really started everything. You were my blind date at the ADPi date party, and I don't think I've ever been more awkward in my life! Thank God you still wanted to talk to me after bowling, I was a complete disaster! | O U R F I R S T K I S S | Our first came much earlier than I expected; at the end of the night after the Date Party and after party at 'Merica. I had just told you that I was not the kind of girl who just hooked up with people, even though I was in your bed, and you said you respected that. Next thing I knew you bent over me and kissed me twice. It was sweet and soft and you didn't push your luck. Then you started snoring like a freight train and I went downstairs to sleep on the couch. Sounds anti-climactic but the next day we got breakfast and spent almost the whole day together. It was perfect.

Our first date was at Chow Bar, and although the awkward theme was continuing, we still had a nice time. At dinner I got a fortune cookie with two fortunes inside. I still carry them with me everywhere I go. They read: "Big journeys begin with a single step" and the next read "In dreams and in life, nothing is impossible." I believe that my fortunes came true; this picture was from our first date as a couple. | O U R F I R S T D A T E | When we officially became a couple at 4am on October 15th on Facebook, your friends hardly believed it. Although I won't take it personally, it was kind of funny to think that I was the girl who, as Chase put it, had "tied you down". This was the first night I met some of your closest friends, and we had such an adventure. Making breakfast buddies and watching you interact with them made me so excited for the days ahead. | OFFICIALLY A COUPLE

This photo from Formal will always be my favorite picture of us. That day ended up meaning so much to me after everything that you had to go through to get there. And you made it. You did everything in your power to come to my Formal, and we had such an amazing time. I knew that I was completely in love with you after that.

I love that we can be silly together...We're so fortunate to have the friendship we have as well as the love we share. We have such a good time together. Thank you for making this journeys feel like an Adventure.

80's Semi-Formal was a hoot! You were so proud of your shirt and you got so many compliments! We seriously made a dynamic duo if you added my big hair, Madonna pearls, and lace gloves. My room turned into such a frat party and Alex Hines blacked out before 7pm. At the dance we flung ourselves around the dance floor because apparently every song was a swing dance... to us anyway.

 Lexi's 21st Birthday! | .............................................. | SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2012

I had so much fun at Scholar's Inn when we went out for dinner, probably the most fun at dinner we've ever had. It was an amazing time and I couldn't have asked for a better guy to share it with. Plus I loved my birthday present and I have the stars on my ceiling every night! I also really loved that you came out to celebrate with me, both of my nights would not have been complete without you there.

 Camping! | ......................................... | OCTOBER 15TH, 2 0 1 1

We went camping for our 1 year anniversary, and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. The weather was perfect and even though we had a late start we had plenty of sunlight to work with... until we got lost... like 4 times. But that made the experience all the more hilarious, and we still were able to set up camp in the dark thanks to my totally awesome headlamps. The only time I ever got nervous was when the coyotes started howling, but I knew I was safe if I was with you. I still want to go back so we could try to actually reach the lake!

favorite places | There was no way that some creepy old guy in a trench coat was going to upstage my boyfriend. Don't like the Annex? Vote for Parker Stancato for Fishers Town Council! Literally worked my butt off... Kevin helped too. | We love restaurants, and even though Denny's is pretty much a go to, Scholar's Inn definitely is that special place. Despite our sad wallets, this place absolutely takes the cake. Can't wait until we go back! | SCHOLAR'S INN | THE POLITICAL SCENE

Even though we got a late start due to Black Friday, we had a good time in the District. I don't think I've seen so many monuments in such a short amount of time! I was also really glad that we were able to see MLK statue. The last time I really visited the memorials I was much younger, so it was really nice for me to re-familiarize myself with them. Then I guzzled about 6 glasses of water at Coastal Flats when we went to dinner with Elizabeth afterwards. Perfect Thanksgiving Break! | WASHINGTON D.C.

 trips

Surprise Visit! | When I saw your face as you came around the corner with your Mom, I wished I had a camera. I knew the last thing you expected was to see me, a few days after my surgery, in your living room. You thought you were being sneaky and were going to surprise me! But all along your Mom and I had been scheming to keep you in Indy just long enough for my plane to land. It was the best day of my Summer. | .............................................. | July 2011

 friendship

When I say "I love you" it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and strength. I've seen the best and worst of you and I understand with perfect clarity exactly what and who you are. I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand and the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep... and there are no words for that. I love you, Lexi
