1: For all the children who grew in their parents hearts | And for their birth parents who loved them first...

2: A is for adoption. I am adopted. | A

3: B is for birth parents They loved me before I was born. | B

4: C is for Children. Many children are Adopted. | C

5: D is for dad He loves and takes care of me. | D

6: E | E is for every one. Every one should learn about adoption.

7: F is for family. We are a family. | F

8: G G is for grand parents. I have lots of grand parents who love me!

9: H | H is for home study. A social worker made sure my home was safe before I joined my family.

10: I | I is for infertility. This is a big word that means it was hard for mommy and daddy to have babies. Thats why they searched for me!

11: J | J is for judge. A judge signed papers that made my mom & dad legally mine.

12: K | K is for keeping. My family is mine for keeping always!

13: L | L is for love. I have lots of people who love me. Love made it possible for me to find my family.

14: M | M is for mom! Isn't she pretty? She loves me and takes care of me.

15: N | N is for natural. I am the natural child of my birth parents.

16: O is open. Many adoptions are open. That means The children know and love their birth parents. | O

17: P is for placement. This is the day I was placed with my family to love and to keep for always. | P

18: Q | Q is for quilt. My mom made me and my birth mother matching quilts. She says it shows how we are tied together.

19: Respect | R | R is for respect. My mom and dad love and respect my birth parents. They are grateful for the gift of me.

20: S | S is for Social worker. They helped my birth parents find my Mom and Dad.

21: T | T is for Tears. Many tears fell on the day I joined my family. Some happy and some sad.

22: U | U is for United. My mom, dad and my birth parents are united. They want me to be safe and loved. I love them!

23: V | V is for variety. Adopted children come in a variety of ages and races. We come from many places. Our mom's and dad's are happy to have found us.

24: W | W is for waiting. My mom and dad waited a long time to find me. They say I was worth the wait!!

25: X | X is for X's and O's. Mom and dad say those are hugs and kisses. I get lots of those!

26: Y | Y is for young. I learned about my adoption when I was very young.

27: Z | Z is for zero!! Now you have zero questions about adoption. You also understand its all about love!!
