1: This is an epic poem describing the journey of a man's soul to God.

2: The epic begins half way through the soul's journey in the Inferno. This symbolizes hell, showing true sin and darkness. | The Inferno is described as a dark wood with many beast (lions, bears, tigers etc.) that are hard to avoid.

4: After Virgil (his guide) helps tDante's soul through the depths of hell they arrive at Purgatorio. Purgatorio is the waiting place for heaven or hell. Located on a Mountain on an island, far away. This mountain shows terraces symbolic of the seven deadly sins. Here everything is visible to see .

6: Mt. Purgatory has 7 terraces, shows the 7 deadly sins!

7: Last place on the journey is Paradiso or Paradise. Dante Makes it to Heaven.

8: Here the soul's ideal woman (Beatrice) guides him through Heaven. Here he finally sees God and understands God's purpose and gives him his love.
