3: Plaza Mayor / You name it - it has happened here. Bullfights, condemnation of Spanish Inquisition heretics, a major fire, and now relaxing and reading in the sunshine.

4: Plaza de la Villa / Public Square Enclosed by examples of 17th-century Madrid-style baroque architecture

6: First Spanish breakfast, and then taking in the sights on the way to the Museo del Prado
