1: Saturday, 2/25/12 View from our balcony | Courtyard at Orange Hill Beach Inn in Nassau

2: Greeter on our balcony when we arrived at Orange Hill Beach Inn. Chris making friends!

3: 20 minute walk to Travelers Rest for wonderful local cuisine -- conch fritters and fish fingers! | Happy to be on vacation!!

4: Sunday, 2/26/12 -- Boarding charter flight in Nassau Bahamas Customs & Immigration & New Bight Airport, Cat Island

11: Location of meals - 1st meal was wahoo fish, couscous, Cat Island tomatoes & pumpkin squash with pineapple cake for dessert - YUM!!! | After dark we walked into the ocean and then dried our feet by the bonfire

12: Monday, 2/27/12 | Bottom of Como Hill, the highest elevation in the Bahamas. Had to park here and walk to the top of the hill.

13: The Hermitage of Father Jerome (known as the Hermit of Cat Island), a Catholic priest that built this small monastery in 1940 at age 64 and lived there until his death at age 80 | It looked very large from the road below at sea level, but you can see with Chris standing next to it, just how small it was.

45: We had dinner at a fundraiser cookout here Saturday night with two other couples from Pigeon Cay. | Festival grounds by the airport where the annual Rake & Scrape Festival is held every June.
