1: Pozo Azul White Water Rafting-Sarapiqui River ¡Pura Vida!
2: Ziplining by Arenal Volcano | The longest line was a 1/2 mile that took 50 seconds to cross and you could get up to 50 mph!
3: Butterflies in a Butterfly Garden
4: A beach on the way to Manuel Antonio National Park Beach. Manuel Antonio Beach was once privately owned, but is now owned by the government.
5: We saw a beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean from our restaurant, El Avion. Many people go eat there at night to see this. | We made sandcastles on the public beach! Sarah bought the sandcastle making supplies at a grocery store that we stopped at!
6: Clear water in one of the parks that we stopped at for a hike.
7: A tree that looks like the Lion King tree! I We saw it by our hotel.
8: Our hotel pool! There was even a huge hot tub! | Some flowers around the country. (The top right one is actually a poinsettia!
10: The window and wall in my room at the host family stay. The family was Salas-Viquez.
11: A view of the Arenal Volcano from my hotel room's deck! It never erupted when we were there, and this is the best view of it that we had.
12: The Malecus Indians showed us about their culture.
13: The Malecus Indians even reenacted how a | proposal and wedding would happen, and it only took about 5 minutes for the whole process!!
14: The above tree is only yellow for about three days, and then the color goes back to green.
15: We saw a lot of different things in the country by just walking around!
16: We got to see how chocolate was made from the cocoa beans! | My favorite was the spoonful of chocolate.
18: To the right are some familiar foods and heart of palm. | Above is a granadilla (you only eat the seeds) and to the left are miniature bananas.
20: The top left is a unique type of ant, and the bottom left is a palm leaf that falls and little coconuts are in it.
21: This is the only tunnel in Costa Rica, and we went through it!
22: La Fortuna Waterfall. We had to walk down 540 steep steps to see this!
