4: Harbourside | with all our belongings now on the way back to the UK, we were officially homeless for the next 7 weeks, living out of suitcases and about to embark on our next adventures for the journey back to the UK. First stop Sydney one of our favourite locations in Australia, and yet another fantastic apartment with one of the best views in the world. | Apartments

22: Boxing Day, after saying goodbye to family in Wellington, it was time to start our whistle stop tour of New Zealand, first stop the | Inter - Island Ferry to Picton, gateway to the South Island

24: after a quick lunch in Picton with Darren, Vicki and Mia, we picked up our hire car and | drove along the spectacular Queen Charlotte Sound to Nelson

26: Golden | Bay | Abel Tasman memorial | Abel Tasman lookout | Silver Fern | unfortunately we didn't see any | our next stop was 3 days in the beautiful Golden Bay, we had just missed some of the worst | floods in years. Although some of our plans had to change, the sun shone brightly for our whole stay

28: Wharariki Beach | Takaka | after a 45 min walk through beautiful countryside we arrived at the most amazingly stunning beach | our home for our visit to Golden Bay

43: Leaving Golden Bay behind we started to head south to our overnight stop in Greymouth. With a 6 hour drive ahead we made time for 2 stops, First stop Buller Gorge with the longest swing bridge in the world. | Yesterday the river was so high that the swing bridge and comet-line were closed | comet-line | FUN

50: After a very cloudy day and a cancelled heli trip the sun finally came out and Mt Cook took his hat off for us | Aoraki Mt Cook taken from Lake Matheson at sunset | Aoraki Mt Cook, the highest mountain in Australasia 3754 metres

51: The next morning the weather was perfect and we managed to take flight over the awe inspiring glaciers and Southern Alps, with a snow landing in the shadow of Mt Cook . . .

66: 4 Jan, our tour of New Zealands South Island complete, we flew north to Auckland, picked up our hire car and drove south to Waitomo, to see the infamous Glowworm Caves. Our home for the night was this wonderful Hobbit Motel, complete with a donkey living on the roof.

70: After our adventures on the Shotover river jet in Queenstown, we thought we would give jet boating on the Nga AwaPura rapids a try. After Daniel had 'goaded' the driver, to go faster and get us wet, our guide took this as a challenge and not one of us got back on dry land without getting completely drenched - Daniel was not quite so happy after that !

76: Pohutu Geyser at sunset | our evening indigenous experience 'Te Po' concluded in watching the Pohutu Geyser erupt as the sun went down, simply stunning
