Once upon a time...This is how all great fairy tales have always begun and this wonderful trip felt just like that, a fairy tale. I, along with a group of 4 girls were able to travel around Europe by train, plane, and automobile before stopping in London to take an Art and Theatre Appreciation class. The trip went like this: December 31, 2007: Paris, France January 3, 2008: Interlaken, Switzerland January 5, 2008: Florence, Italy January 7, 2008: Venice, Italy January 9, 2008: Salzburg, Austria January 11, 2008: Munich, Germany January 12, 2008: London, England
2008 | Arriving at Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris | a | Morgan and Me
After missing the metro stop, we get off and see the Eiffel Tower for the first time
New Years '08 | Paris, France at the Pont de Bir Hakeim
 around town
We took a day trip to Versailles to break things up a bit. It was beautiful but waiting out in the cold and rain was not the highlight of the trip.
 Always Sleeping on Trains
Next stop was Interlaken, Switzerland. We stayed at Balmer's Herberge where we met up with Carter Edwards, Cody Penrod, and Jared Hughes from Samford. We spent the next day or so with them hiking up in the Alps, night sledding, and exploring Wengen. Mary stayed in Paris to visit with family friends so it was just the four girls and the Samford Guys. Who knew what this meeting would bring later on.
Morgan, Abby, Keren, and I headed off to Florence, Italy were we stayed at the Tower of the Alberti that was built in 1356. The owner made us breakfast every morning where we had the best cappuchinos in the world! | GELATO!
Bridge of Sighs | Venice, Italy
 Finally fruit! We were excited!
We next found ourselves in Salzburg , Austria. We stayed at the YoHo Youth Hostel where they had the best weiner schnitzel. Since we were in Austria, we thought it would be fun to go on the Sound Of Music tour. Now I know far too much about that movie.
 being silly
We made a quick stop in Munich before heading over to London for class. The second that we got into town, we dropped our bags and went on a walking tour of the city
Munich is known for thier famous sausage. Man was it spicy! | The city itself isn't old because of World War II but it was built to look like it survived. Not much did.
Welcome to London, England! Mary and me at Tower Bridge
I got to know a great group over the weeks we were there. The sights were amazing, but the people made the trip. | Me, Laura, Mary, & Morgan
 The sights
 The view from Tower Bridge
 Warwick Castle
I found out that Morgan and Carter had the same love for Harry Potter as I did. While in Statford we ran across this shop called the Creaky Cauldron, which is very close to a famous store in the books. There the three of us got sorted into our respective houses. We were all Gryffindors!
Mary's 21st birthday! | Dinner and then to the Absolute Ice Bar, London
You can't go to London and NOT take a phone booth picture
